Well I am on day three of this diet and it sucks quite a bit. My energy is almost non existent and yesterday in the gym my strength was way down :( Today I woke up and am still feeling a little dizzy and light headed. Not only that but I starving pretty much all day. I have already lost some of the stubborn fat around my waist though so hopefully it will all be worth it. Just thought I'd update. I've never done any kind of no carb/low carb diet before and didn't know what to expect. Hopefully my body will adjust because this is no fun right now :(

keep you head up bro, its all worth it in the end !!!

a small cup of coffee everycouple hours will help more than you think !!

I hope you're right. Did you experience any of the same things, and did your body adjust to them or was it miserable the whole time?

Also, I don't care for coffee so I'm probably just going to suck it up and try it make it without. The only good thing is that for this week and next I have almost nothing to do. Just moved back to NC, so no work yet and living with the 'rents until after the wedding when we can look for a house. At least I can just be lazy and tired all day, lol :)

Am I supposed to feel like I'm dying, because that's pretty much how I feel. I am starving but don't even have the energy to cook myself food.

Ugh... low carb sucks the life out of you!! It will be worth it though.. trying to survive workouts is the worst part! Are you doing this for the wedding?

Yeah, would like to get down to like 5%, I'm probably in single digits right now. I don't have any patience though and everyone wants me to stop because this is supposed to be an exciting week and I am a grumpy gus. :( I might just eat really clean and save this diet for later.

You have enough stress to worry about... and nobody's gonna see your abs in your tux on the big day! Plus your lady loves you just as you are... stay lean so that you can feel good on your awesome honeymoon (still so jealous!!!) but if you're already THAT lean, it doesn't sound like you need this diet. :)

When's the wedding again? You getting excited or are you too carb-deprived to elicit that emotion? lol..

LOL, all good points Steph. Thanks for that. The wedding is a week from this Saturday. (July 25) You're right too about the diet. Plus, you know what, I'm going to eat whatever I want on the honeymoon anyway so why try and get that lean just to ruin it on vacation. :)

Thanks again, that's probably exactly what I needed to hear.

Oh man, a little more than a week... crazy!!! :)

Yeah you better enjoy some food on that honeymoon... how could you go to europe and eat nothing but chicken and broccoli? I don't think it's possible!! LOL.

You got that right. The word diet isn't even going to be in my vocabulary for those three weeks. After all, what's the point of working hard all year long if I can't let myself enjoy a few weeks of good eating in another continent!!
