Yeah again I'm not impressed. This shit is easily everywhere online. I guess I'm with the more conservative group that sees this as delegitimizing the sport

Ya know, I thought the same thing in the beginning. What changed my mind was checking out all the competitors from top to bottom of a class. I thought any chick off the street could do well, but it definitely shows that there is some diet/training that separates the winners from the rest. You'd be surprised what stage lighting exposes on what would normally be a hot chick in a bikini.

i can highly agree and disagree with that

ive visited so many shows, and honestly the judging really depends on the judges.

what they look for is still a question to me. ive seen women wins shows with chubb hips, no butts, and round tummys

the girl that just won the overall at nats's i feel shouldnt have....

Turd slicers. Wow. I bet the judging is very subjective. What is asthetically pleasing to one is not to another. Some love kim kardashian butts and others think that firm smaller ones are great. I need to stop thinking about this. I haven't had sex in four days. LOL

I agree with jonflex, does anyone actualy have a copy or list of the requirments the judges are looking for with bikini?

when the AC show came around in NJ there was a little detailed section in the 4 page booklet then set

nothing too much, just common sense on clothing, walking, turning , etc...

I compete in bikini (hopefully will have the muscle to move up to figure one day, since that's my real goal here), but I agree... I've seen this commercial and I'm appalled that the NPC would support, let alone create, such an advertisement. The bikini division has caught so much crap. It really needs to show that diet and training are a key to being a successful competitor, not just a sexy physique.

Some chicks may be able to walk around year-round and put on their bikini, but I can't... I dieted hard and trained hard to earn my win in June and I know I'll be dieting harder (well, hopefully "smarter" since I'm now under the coaching guidance of an IFBB pro) and training harder to display an improved physique that is worthy of competing at the national level.

Thnx steph! I guess your man was to lazy to get this for us! lol. Your such a sweetheart :)

Thats awsome to work with someone who knows exactly how to push ya and how far they can push ya! I hope you do well

Thanks! Yeah, she's pretty cool... I'm excited to see what happens once I start cutting (probably in February). I did it on my own this year and it's so easy to second-guess yourself.

So having one person who you know and trust knows their shit is the way to go for sure! otherwise like u said u 2nd guess shit and not sure whos info is realy right for your body type ect...
