My Mass Log - IGF Lr3 / AAS / Peptides combo

Hi everyone,

Time to start a log surrounding my latest mass cycle now that i have a few weeks under my belt. This is for research and vanity purposes only :)

I really should see some quality gains from this, or at least this is what i'm hoping for.

So, what on the cards then? ...

... the cycle is planned for 20 weeks as a rough guide, and as i said earlier i have been on now since 9th August 2010 so i already have some progress to talk about later. 20 weeks takes me right up to the end of this year, with the AAS dropping out at wk 15 and PCT starting at the beginning of December.

The general format of this cycle is quite simple in nature, im not a huge believer in taking tonnes of different things all at once but in this case it really cant be helped. So with this in mind this is what the setup looks like.

The AAS :-
Just a heavy run of Test, with some Deca, EQ, and D-Bol (EQ chucked in to get rid of it basically) in the following quantities.

Wk 1-15 | TEST Blend - 400mg/ml : 1600mg PW
Wk 2-14 | DECA - 250mg/ml : 500mg PW
Wk 2-12 | EQ - 50mg/ml : 200mg PW
Wk 1-5 | DBol - 10mg/tab : 50mg ED


The IGF-Lr3 :-
Never used this stuff before, and had a whole host of mind bending reading on the best protocol to use ... had a lot of help from guys here on the board too (thx dudes). I have a variety of brands from Igetropin to Amino Outpost.

Wk 1-5 | 80mcg bi lateral on workout days
Wk 9-14 | 80mcg bi lateral on workout days


The Peptides :-
I have always use synthetic HGH in the past for my contest prep and other use, but this time i decided on a different approach. I had available to me at the time CJC-1295 (w/o DAC) [so basically GRH 1-29] and GHRP-6. Two peptides i have never used before but am giving a whirl for knowledge purposes.

Wk 1-20 | CJC-1295 - 100mcg x 3 ED
Wk 1-20 | GHRP-6 - 100mcg x 3 ED



Now you have the details i will post other things like my diet, beginning stats, training program and observations.

Can't wait to read. Our usage will be a little different as I'm lower on AAS, and Mod GRF 1-29 is supposedly just a bit different from CJC-1295 and I'll add in a little GH and Benzo's with my dosing.
 
nice cycle..what is your starting weight (with pics) and what is your goal weight or look you want (and pics at the end)

and what about diet, and your training style...also what do you do for a living..will that possaible hurt your gains (lot of lifting, or stress)

im excited to see what will happen...

I glad everyone is chomping at the bit to read my log, so i will do my best to get all the information requested up in a timely fashion.

Let me gather my data together and i'll get it all up on the board.

With regards to my job, i am in IT and so heavy lifting is not really that much a part of it. Stress however is a mitigating factor as the role i perform is sometimes high pressure and long hours ... I NEVER miss a trip to the gym though ... it is how i de-stress.

A few unchanging stats are ...

Male (hopefully this will not change lol)
6ft 1" or 184cm
Bodybuilder, currently not expecting to compete again until 2012.

Right so here we go ...

Beginning Stats:

102kg / 16 stone / 224lbs
Bodyfat around the 10-11% mark
Up until the start of this cycle a 2850kcal diet - 50/30/20 Macro breakdown

My camera is busted right now, but have a few grainy pics from abt a month before so will dig them out and put them up (no flaming man, i dont ever seem to be able to stay in the condition you guys do all the time)


Current Stats:

108kg / 17 stone / 238lbs
BF - though it must be higher than before im pretty sure its not by much, maybe 12%
Diet is now 3850kcals in a 40/40/20 Macro ratio

Again i'll get some mobile pictures up if nothing else ... once again no flaming bro's im holding water lol!


Observations:

DEFINATE water retention issue going on, not that you cant really expect it with the test and deca going in, and the DBol probably hasnt helped any either.

Up until the start of this i had been totally off cycle (no bridging) for nearly 4 months i believe, and i think i had low test levels as water retention was still considerable. I have to say for the first 3-4 weeks of putting in all the componds mentioned i didnt 'feel' how i do now, possibly with the exception of the IGF which i could feel the difference with immediately more or less.
I was actually getting a little worried as none of the weights i normally push in the gym were increasing and recovery was still way down from what i expect whilst on cycle.

Now coming in to the 5th week i am stoked, the results are really starting to come through by way of strength increase and recovery. I have had some brutal heavy sessions in the gym in the last week, busting all my previous personal best lifts out of the water. This has been a real motivator! Just to give a few numbers ...

Free Weight back Squats - 6 sets | 2x60kgx20reps / 1x100kgx10reps / 1x140kgx10reps / 1x180kgx10reps / 1x190kgx9reps
Plates loader Hack Sq machine - 6 sets ending with 380kg for 10reps

All massive numbers for me, and this you gotta love :)


I fully admit i had my doubts around this cycle ... the IGF / and Peptides i included this time round are very new to me and i didnt really know what to expect. One thing i do know is that i had to spend ages (and still am) reading about dosing protocols, peoples suggested eating plans etc etc. Although i believe from reading peoples posts that it is far to early in this cycle to see any changes/benefits from the CJC/GHRP-6 combo, i do think it is working. And as for the IGF ... im a total convert. I will most definately be using this all the time in the future!

I will post more on my training techniques, splits and diet samples later tonight or tomorrow. And i'll get some pics up soon
 
Sounds like great gains. I'm already on my AAS so my addition of peptides will be a real back to back to see what benefits they really have. Sounds like you're making great gains. I'm going to have to find out the conversion for kg to lbs though lol.
 
Okay so the water seems to be evening itself out a little now, i think it could well have been from the dbol at the beginning. Still continuing to get great sessions out at the gym and long may it continue i say, consistantly lifting heavier and still with good form.

Im going to take a heavy weight breather next week though, for squats im going to take on the advice of a few people here on the board and try and swap things up a little. Gonna go lighter but as low and full range as i can possibly manage.

Im really toying with the idea of throwing in the MGF i have post work out to see how it works, either that or some humalin r at a low dose to begin with. Both i have heard great things about.


Im a little disheartened as my weight gain seems to have levelled off and i'm not breaking the 17 stone mark, this could be down to the fact i have run out of protein (more to the point money) and so im having to eat what i have on stock. Not good to run out half way through a month like i did and limp your way to pay day. Its really annoying me now.

Still hunting for the pics, but they should be up soon.


Last night i trained arms in their own right, this isnt something i normally do. I normally train something like back and tri's, chest 'n' bi's or the other way around. I was feeling crap and tired (so much so i forgot my gym bag) but i made effort to train at least something (in my work clothes lol)

I shot my IGF in 3 split bi-lateral dosages, so a shot in the 2 major tricep heads and 1 in the belly of the bicep. I downed a Jack3d sample i found in the car and smashed back a protein bar.

Fu*k me it was the best arms session i've ever had, the pumps almost crippled me towards the end! Ended up curling 80lb dumbells with form and for 8 reps a side, doing tricep pushdowns with 390lbs and then amongst other things straight olympic bar curls for reps with 100lbs on the bar. My arms are sore as sh*t today, but blasted that session out.

I'll be recieving MC immense GF, l-glutamine, creatine, nos and BCAA's next week sometime and so im looking forward to adding those to the mix big time. Next week is gonna rock!

Also, what IGF are u currently on now & whats the most noticeble effect?
 
TOTAL WASTE to run EQ at that dosage and for that duration. Seriously...cut it out of your cycle if you don't have AT LEAST enough to run 600mg for 15 weeks. When I run it, I will typically run 800-900mg per week for 16+ weeks. That is where you really see good results from it. If you can't run at least 600mg cut it out. Only a complete noob would think they could get results from a shitty ass dosage you have it at. Not trying to be mean, but the truth isn't always pretty. Also, that is a HUGE amount of test for most guys. What dosage of test did you run your last cycle at?

Hey shaptown, wasnt really expecting that post but hey critisim is ALWAYS welcome dude. I'm not expecting ANYTHING from the EQ man it was merely in there to get rid of the small amount i had.

In honesty dosing at 600mg and over with the stuff i had would have been impossible as it was 50mg per ml! Doing the math thats a 12ml shot, damn man my glutes would have been bubbles lol.

It may seem a stupid or crap idea to you, but i really cant bring myself to throw stuff away. :suspect:

I ran my last cycle of test at 1200mg pw, i have been thinking of dropping down to this in a few weeks time to run the cycle out longer.

Hey man,

Currently the IGF im using is the IGETROPIN from Hygene, I had a 2500mcg kit (standard size) and i have to say i like it. The AminoOutpost IGF i havent cracked open yet dude, but when the switch comes i'll be writing up and difference i notice in this log.

Finally i have 2000mcg of the coverted MC Immense Growth Factor, which i have to say im absolutely dying to recieve and give a go ... its meant to be leagues above the rest.

The most noticeable effect for me as im using it pre workout is the pump, solid full muscles all the way throught the workout. I feel fuller and more solid all day. There is IMO a strength aspect to the use as well, i base this solely on the fact that now i have come off the IGF for 4 weeks (have done a 5 week stint) i definately notice a weights difference.

Can anyone clarify for me actually, is it TOTALLY necessary to cycle on and off IGF every 5 weeks or so, or can i just stay using it at 80mcg PD on w/o days?

I wasn't being mean bro, it was just constructive criticism. Look, I am all for not putting gear to waste, but there really is no point in having that gear in there, when you could simply save it and run it in an appropriate manner in a future cycle. You feel me?

most definately man, and all critisism is wisely taken ... infact i welcome it from seasoned dudes like yourself as im not way a pro in this game yet.

If i'd have thought about it i guess it would have been better to save, but it was a disappointment from the start when it arrived through my supplier guy ... i was expecting something more around the 200mg/ml but instead i got a massive bottle of 50mg/ml ... not much use when BB'ing

I have to say im having a real down week, probably down to the lack of IGF in my cycle and the fact my partner has just started shifts at the hospital training again. This REALLY kills my workout schedule, and instead of have my set days, i only get to workout here and there as i can.

Not such a major thing as i still get in enough, but im just one of those creatures of habbit that likes to know what he's doing when it comes to training.

I have to say i have never missed a compound after cycleing off it as much as IGF, i mean i REALLY notice the difference. It cant be a mental thing as the weights have gone down and settled a good 10kg from what i was lifting, and all progress forward is halted. Cant wait for week 9 when i comes back in!

So some observations ...

I had read on a few forums that GHRP-6 can really have some unwanted bloating and bad weight promoting issues at the dosages im using. And i have to say im pretty much in agreement. When ever i have take synthetic GH in the past at high dosages it has always been that i hold a tonne of water ... and going the CJC / GHRP route seems to be just as bad if not worse. I'll get the mid cycle pics up to point this out this week.

Another thing i have noticed is that i have switched from 250mg/ml deca to 300mg/ml deca. Nothing major in the numbers really, but although they make is the same, it must be mixed with a different oil as it really makes me feel ill. Thought i might have been the first couple of pins, but its a consistant feeling and between vials as well. Whatever the 'mixer' is, it must be different.

So this week i am lowering the Test dosage a little to 1200mg PW from 1600mg. This is partly to pull the cycle out longer, and see if i cant cut some of this water bloat. 1200mg pw is a heavy dose still and i dont see the harm in dropping down really.

My diet i am really gonna need to swap up sometime soon, im currently eating very lean and large, chicken breast, rice, sweet pots, tuna steaks, eggs etc, and only a few shakes in between. Need to change it up for some other sources i think. Fluid wise im taking in 4 litres a day at the moment, plus the water in each shake, which brings it up to around 5 litres..


Really hoping next week is a better week!
