I started out at 218 one month ago. Measurements I tracked were arms, waist and chest. Starting measurements were arms 16 3/4", waist 37", chest 45". As of today is has been exactly four weeks. Weight is currently 204, arms 17", waist 34.5", chest 45.5". So I have lost 13 lbs while gaining a little bit of size.

Not only that, but I have set personal best on the following lift, squat, rack deads, BB curls, DB presses and upright rows. I took some pictures for side by side comparison, let me know what you guys think. Not the most radical transformation but I'm pretty pleased with the progress in just one month.

I would also like to emphasize that this was done 100% drug free. Diet and training only.

This is what my day looked like. 1g Vitamin C first thing AM. 50g protein shake 15 min preWO. Sip on BCAA/creatine mixture during WO. 50g protein shake postWO. 1 real meal at home after work consisting of 1/2 of a whole chicken, 2-4oz cheese, 4 eggs, 1 grapefruit and some leafy greens (spinach, kale, endive, etc). That's it. And though it's hardly any food, I felt pretty great most of the day. Hunger pangs the first week, but then they got better. Still hungry most of the day, but manageable.

Anyway, appreciate any feedback. On to the pics...

IF dieting has its advantages.. but they really are few and far apart

look at what the original poster put as his diet.. off the top of my head i would say its less than 1200 calories.. whether you IF diet or not at that caloric intake youre going to see rapid weight loss. When people see that weight loss they think, ohh my gosh IF dieting really works! But thats not really the case her. He was starving himself, slowing down his metabolism, and likely had a bad weight rebound when he stopped this type of dieting.

Fad diets with minimal calories for quick weight loss never end well..

dieting is about nutrition sustainability.. do it right the first time..

i set up diets and training routines for a living.. using 100% online coaching through emails and i will never condone this type of dieting.

My company, 3Js Nutrition Network www.3jsdiet.com, is all about dieting the healthy way in a sustainable manner

Can anyone explain the photos and muscle gain (this one is key)/fat lose from the original poster? Either he is flat out lying or something worked here.

I know that IF is not a popular or sustainable diet, but look at the photos..................what am I missing?

your eyes are tricking you..

he is leaner which makes his muscles more pronounced... which makes him look like he gained muscle

Makes sense. Guys say I look bigger after 10 lbs fat lose and 2 months of dieting. The mind and scale start to play tricks with me, I feel like I am getting skinny and everyone else thinks I am getting bigger.

Took me over 10+ years to figure this out and not panic that I was getting too skinny and switch to a bulk.

I ALWAYS LOOK WAY BIGGER WHEN IM DIETED DOWN. BUT YEAH WHEN I HAVE MY CLOTHS ON, YOU CANT TELL SO MUCH, AND ITS A MIND FUCK WHEN YOUR YOUNGER, OR WAS FOR ME ANYHOW LOL, NOW DAYS IM CONTENT AND UNDERSTAND ALL THIS BUT BACK THEN NOT SO MUCH LMAO

AND ITS A MIND FUCK WHEN YOUR YOUNGER

X2 for me. It is one of the hardest things to overcome when you are trying to gain weight for years then you feel like you are going backwards the first time you diet.

I still get surprised everytime I am feeling small and people ask if I am gaining weight?

After years of looking like Vince Wilfork I've been shrinking steadily since 8/13/2013. Plateaus then bam, plateaus then bam and repeat. The human body if not altered thru disease self corrects. Thinking about miles of capillaries, viens, and nerves that have reabsorbed as the fat is removed is mind boggling. Somehow the body reverses what it created.... Funny everyone wants to be big but after being hugely big/fat for so long I just want to be lean. Goal is 245-255@6'5
