Give me a quad workout

Hey guys anyone have a killer quad workout? Im training at home, I have leg ext, smith machine, leg press and a hack squat. Looking for something pretty tough!

As for a killer quad workout, nah ,lol, I just do the basics to kill my quads, extensions, smith machine with feet forward and together.

What do you normaly do
 
I've always trained legs a little extreme. I was told by my first trainer, you either train them with extremely heavy weight or you kill them with drop sets, super sets, rest pause, extremely high reps etc. I've never had good results with going extremely heavy so I've always picked the latter.
 
walking lunges while holding dumbells, this is way harder than having a bar across the back.
 
I ended up doing the following workout,nothing extraordinary but they are shot.
Leg ext 4 sets of 20
Hamstring curl 4 sets, 20, 15, 12, 12
Leg press feet apart 5 sets 25, 20, 20, 15, 15
Hack squats 4 sets 15, 12, 10, 8
Walking lunges 2 sets of 20 holding 25lb dbells
Leg ext toes in 3 sets of 15

If you have a barbell, try barbell hack squats or Jefferson squats. You may need to look them both up, but they are a great change of pace kind of exercise
 
I've been doing barbell hacks for a long time over machine hacks too if that tells you anything

Reps would have been nice. I find that the rep range is the most importnat for quads. They tend to need a TON of volume to grow. I have a lot of equipment and only workout in the basement. I have found neat ways to invent exercises. I have a couple true winners. Ill try to post vids.
 
Added the reps on there for you. I agree that legs need a lot of volume.

It will next week!! I've decided to take tge next 4 days off which is shoulders, chest, back and legs. I'm exhausted and haven't eaten right at all so that's a recipe for an injury. I'm just going to enjoy this time with my family and pick back up on Tuesday!! My body could use a little break anyway.
 
Since you have the home gym, I'd really give splitting legs up into 2 days bro. It's made things 10x better for me. I will never go back to training quads/hams on the same day
