Exactly what should I order when getting blood work done?

Hey,

Prepping for a cycle want to get blood work. I'm looking at this site, Private MD - Buy Lab Tests Online , which I found here. Wondering what is the most cost effective way.

They have hormone panel for males which looks good other than it does not include LH?

I also looked at the bloodwork thread http://www.musclechemistry.com/uplo...hat-they-mean-how-do-i-read-my-bloodwork.html.

What's the best way to hit all of these or the most important ones?

I'm assuming people are doing this regularly so if I can I'll save myself the time of writing it all down and figuring it out?

Those bastards, hormone test but don't include the LH test lmao.

Honestly if it is pre cycle I wouldn't bother with LH. Post cycle is where (if you really care to know) it will mater.

Good to know, I just want to make sure all my shit is optimal. I'm tired and moody even eating when eating clean and killing it in the gym. It may just be stress or not enough sleep, but I want to be sure before I start making changes.

get a CMP, cholesterol, free and total test levels

Awesome, so the regular profile will do it. I can afford a couple of those.

the CMP is a comprehensive metabolic panel includes more than the basic (BMP), it does not include the cholesterol so request that as well

This is what the hormone panel includes.

-Lipid Panel
-Complete Blood Count (CBC) w/ Differential
-Estradiol, Sensitive
-Insulin Growth Factor (IGF-1)
-Comprehensive Metabolic Profile (CMP) (includes eGFR)
-Testosterone (Free) , Serum (Equilibrium Ultrafiltration) With Total Testosterone
-Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA)
-Thyroid Profile

The basic hormone panel for women gets everything you need plus the LH brother. I'd go with that one. Your age and gender will dictate the normal ranges to go by, so you wont have to worry about that....

what he said.
thats what i always used, but i added the cholesterol test in

I've never had a lab test that tells me how my test levels compare for someone my age so you'll need to hunt online to find ranges - just google it.

You can resolve problems with your hemoglobin by donating blood. Yours will probably be high and donating blood solves that.

Remember that the test level is just that - I don't think it will show deca for example

Only thing I would add is that you should monitor your blood pressure. You can test that for free at mist grocery stores.

it pays to have a pro in the house! lol

Just got my test results back. The process with the website and the lab was painless. There was no one else in the place, handed the lady my paper, she asked no questions, took the blood, and I walked out. Got the email the next day with my results.

These are the results.

Test, Serum870 Range 348-1197 ng/dl

Estradiol
42.0 Range 7.6-42.6 pg/ml

Luteinizing Hormone
6.8 Range 1.7-8.6 mIU/ML

FSH, Serum
4.3 Range 1.5-12.4 mIU/ML

I was satisfied with the test reading but the E2 is obviously too high. My T to E ration is 27:1 when it apparently should be between 30-60:1. So I just ordered some adex and will probably start off with 1.5mg per week and see how I feel on that.

Good to hear it was easy peasy brutha! Way to keep a check on ur blood levels!

Looks good Brother. You are on track with your E2 levels and the Adex. I fight mine continually especially on Dbol. Dbol shoots my E2 levels in the 200's. So, its a fight, but a worthy fight.
