Why do some people take both nolvadex and letro/adex pre contest? I don't understand the logic behind it. Anyone care to chime in?

To try to pull as much water out before show . Lower estrogen level, less water retention . Look dryer. It works

That's what I assumed, I figured letro was enough, how far out should I add the nolvadex in as well? Currently 10.5 weeks out using letro 1.5mg a day

I used dex at 1mg day and nova 40mgs day
they wrk in 2 very very different ways! thats why, your covering all your based when you use nolvadex and arimadex. The arimadex ensures you don't convert any of your testosterone into estrogen, and if by chance your still have free floating estrogen that has already been converted then the nolvadex will compete with the estrogen receptor for binding. So your covering all your bases as best as possible, first trying to stop any estrogen conversion and then if anythings does convert to estrogen, then nolva is there to compete for the estrogen receptor
