What body fat percentage are you starting at? Not sure you're getting enough protein with that, and you might want to carb up on weekends.

Great! You don't have far to go at all. I'm down 11 lbs (from 202 to 191) in about 4 weeks doing a high (50g or so) carb meal immediately after working out, and < 20 g of carbs the rest of the day, and carbing up on weekends. Alternating NYC/ECA stack (2 weeks of each), taking ALA with my carb containing meals, almost no cardio. My calipers are showing 9.7% body fat (down from roughly 13.5%), but I think I'm actually around 12%. I think the change is accurate, though. Good luck! The no carbs is much easier than I expected it to be, especially since I know I can have carbs post workout and on the weekends.

I like 2g/lb for cutting and 1.5g/lb for bulking so I'd say up the protein and drop a little of the fat.

Friends don't screw friends, but it's your life.... AND, I certainly wouldn't announce it --

Shit, if you'll fuck your buddy over I'd hate to see what you'd do to someone you don't know...... You might as well just say

"HEY EVERYONE I'M GOING TO SCAM YOU IF I GET THE CHANCE"

I have tried do a 0 carb diet which stopped after 5 days, this simple made my so damn tired! Didn't have any energy to get a good pump during my workouts, didn't feel "on top" even one day while I did it... no way I'll ever try that again!

I think that a good clean diet which is low in fat, high in protein with a moderat amount of complex carbs is THE WAY to go... add some cardio to that and the results will come!

The reason I decided to try the low carb thing was the great results other people were seeing, and I feel like my body is so used to the low fat, high protein, moderate (clean) carb thing that I can't make the progress I want. And the last time I really upped the cardio doing that, I felt like I lost too much muscle.

As far as the energy thing, I don't really feel terribly lacking. I'm used to working out first thing in the morning on an empty stomach anyway, so it doesn't affect my workouts at all. And I do eat carbs post workout (those are my only significant carbs during the week). And I carb up during the weekends.

I think I felt a little run down the first week, but after that, it's been pretty smooth sailing. I feel like I've stalled just a bit (hard to tell, I gain weight on the weekends carbing up, but by the end of the week I'm usually down quite a bit), so I'm adding some cardio back in (haven't done cardio in 9 months or so prior to this).
