Well, got my gear, and had my first injection today. I'm hoping to get some good gains even though I'm 50. I think I can do ok, very committed to trying! I'm 6'3" 220. Not sure of bf, but from a website I entered my measurements and they said between 12 and 13%. I think I look skinny as hell, always have. Seems like guys that are my height and weight all look much thicker than I do. Now that I have modern science on my side, I hope to end up feeling a lot better about myself. Too bad my ex probably won't get to see me (we live 1500 miles apart), I'd like to make her realise she shouldn't have dumped me. just having my test levels back up makes a huge difference in my life, and the gains will only make it that much better. By the way, I did a very light cycle before 200mg/wk Cypionate. Now its off to the races, we'll see if I get a sore ass:eek: . heres my cycle;

wk1-10 cypionate 600 mg/wk
wk1-10 decca 400 mg/wk
wk 1-4 propionate 100mg every 3 days
wk 2-10 teslac 50mg tab 5 x wk, increase in case of gyno or bloat

also going to run an injectable Wynstrol cycle at end or after to harden up and improve the quality of what I gain from the cycle. Of course I'll go with HCG therapy at the end. I may extend the Teslac beyond what I stated to take care of water and gyno further out. I was wondering what you vets think of this. Since I'm running an anti-aromatiser, will I need to run clomid? Your critiques are most welcome. I'm so excited I could piss like a puppy right now!:D :D :D

I'd say yes, some clomid at end.(but i'm not a vet)

My dad, the famous surgeon, says that after 40 a man can't gain muscle. All you can do is lose it. You can workout and keep it longer or be a potato and lose it faster. That's it.

I'm not sure I agree with him.

If it's true, then gaining even 5 lbs of muscle after 40 would be a very valuable thing! Extremely important. I could improve the whole rest of your life.

So, please let us know what happens. (I'd love to rub my dads nose in it)

I don't want to rub your dad's nose in anything but here's a little history if you want. I was at 212 or so when I started a 200mg/wk cycle this summer. I lost some body fat (went from a 36 waist to a 35 or 34), and I am now stronger (so I know its muscle) and I weigh 220. Five pounds from this cycle will not be acceptable to me, I am not going to believe I have any limits, and just see what I can get from it. In the last few years I was able to gain a little strength and size when I was working out as hard as I could, but the last cycle really was a noticeable improvement. Add to that the youthful feeling it gave me and it was a true miracle for me. Maybe some of that was in my head, but I did feel better, even though I was going through a very depressed time in my life. Thanks for the encouragement... take care.

clearly AS throws his theory in the trash. Glad to hear it.

".. was a true miracle for me."
I don't think it's in your head. I believe you 100%

Wonder what's going to happen when ALL the baby-boomers figure this out.

"...wonder whats going to happen when all the babyboomers find out"

Not much I hope ( I want to be the only one :D). Actually, I suspect that most people my age are set in their ways and may not have the determination to see it through (guessing here). It takes a LOT of work at this age to get any strength and size gains at my advanced age. At least it seems so for me. Big difference from when I was younger. I was able to make minimal gains without the gear, but it was very small and slow. Thanks for the support Cow.

That after 40 comment is total Bullshit!!-I don't care what "famous doctor" said it-I have yet to hear of 1 medical professional that actually has any sort of training concerning gear-ask him what class in med school covered uses of AAS in BBers!!Also-take a look around the ranks of pro BBers-lots of guys over 40 and some in their 50's-still getting better!!-Get after it Badger-show the young bucks what "intensity" is all about!!-Good Luck!!

your dad 's theory is based on the lack of test at 40.......

His dad is right and wrong. No, you cant gain muscle by hyperplasia (new muscle cells) after your growth is complete. But your muscle cells can undergo hyperplasia (increase in volume) at any age with proper stimulation.
