we have a maltese and give it distilled water.. the vet told use to do that makes it has less iron and some other things in it.. now what that means to your question i don't know.. just like to post..

A friend of mine drank distilled water, and boiled all his foods in distilled water, while getting ready for a show. Fucking guy came in under 3% and looked like he didn't have skin, just raw, striaghted muscle showing!! It's a little extreme, but he looked great!!

It does get your sodium awful low. As for coming in flat, I think if you get some carbs in the night before, your msucles will suck it up, drawing more water away from your skin, and allowing you to come in full.

Of course, there are thousnads of opinions as to what to do that last week. It really comes down to what do you feel works for you.

distilled water does not contain any iron or sodium which can cause you to retain more water. Distilled water is regular tap water that is boiled. The steam that is given off if then recooled and collected in a separate chamber and that is distilled water. I think that it would be better for precontes prep.

Presser you should switch to distilled 2wks out from your show.

I drink it all the time, just make sure u take a potassium supplement.

I got a water/heater cooler that zepkerhills delivers 5 gallon jugs to me every week! Dstilled is the way to go... or delivered?!1
1!?!?!??/// ;) :)

Also you can try this, i got this from xcelbeyond

Monday: 3 gal distilled
Tuesday: 2 gallons - 3 grams Vit C
Wednesday: same - 4 grams Vit C
Thursday: 1 gallon - 6 grams Vit C
Friday: Sip no more than 16 oz. distilled water or better yet black coffee or green tea as these are a natural diuretic and work very well - 10 grams Vit C
Saturday (contest day): Sip no more than 16 oz. distilled water - 10 grams Vit C

You'll pee like a mad man on Monday and as you reduce water intake your body assumes you are still taking in enourmous/excess. So by Friday when you're not taking much in it'll pull water from your system and dry you out.

You can get a reverse osmosis water filter that will make water just as good as distilled.
It's easier, and cheaper (in the long run).

It ain't that cheap -- I bought a four stage RO/DI unit for my reef tanks, it was $600 for the unit and the cartridges cost me a small fortune every couple months.....

The distilled water has NOTHING and i mean nothing else in it.. i switch to that the last 7-10 days.. I beleive at that point the body has been deprived and will try and hold on to anything.. the thought that there is NO sodium will aid in drying out.. myth or fact............... well most dont want to take a chance after dieting for 16+ weeks

distilled water is the cleanest water ,beter that RO , it pulls the toxins out of your body .......I'm hypothroid , I'm not to drink anything with clorine , florid ........or any metals. and it tastes good too.......best place to by is walmart only $.52 a gallon........It makes a big difference when you swet no clogged pores
