Do you tell your doctor?

I was just wondering......
Is it a good idea to tell yuor doctor that you are going to do a cycle or not? i know different doctors will react in different ways, but what do most of you do?

They could then give me a blood test or what ever before i did them, and one after to make sure everything is ok.

And is it wise to ask them for a script for anything like clomid, gear or whatever? (althouhg is is available locally)

I used to tell my doc, and have blood work done regularly to be sure my liver and cholesterol were ok. I don't have med. coverage right now, but as soon as I get it again I'll let my doc know. They can';t stop you, they may preach a little, but in the interest of your health, most will be cool.

I have heard of doctors turning patients away, but have never experienced it myself.

if it matters im in the UK and we dont have medical insurance over hear.....anybody in the UK asked their doc for a script?

I had to let my doc know.. I had trouble breathing because of astsmatic bronchitis and sinus problems and he wanted to give me a cortisone shot..I didnt know if that would react with my AS He asked if I was taking any other meds and I said if I tell you you cant put it in my file and he agreed and thanked me for being honest.. no lectures but he did recomend checking liver values and now that he knows it makes it easier for me to get the tests done.. And I gave him a little edjucation on AS. It was surprising how little he knew.. Well I figure there isnt much in the docs med books on Fina, Winnie and EQ being they are used for animals. He shook his head when I told him everything was vet gear but I explained a lot to him about ancillary drugs and the other good stuff..

we dont have medical insurance like you. we have the NHS which means everybody gets treated in hospital or by the doctors for free. we have to pay for scrips but they are a set fee of £6.20 GBP for what ever they prescribe you (but i dont know how much juice would be if they prescribed it)

my doc don't know, i have actually been debating on telling her. . . especially since i am being treated for kidney stones and an enlarged kidney. . . she also mentioned that my liver values were high

Most doctor's freak out completely here. AS usage is very different in Europe than in the US. In Europe AS are hardly ever used at all even for medical purposes. Not even aids patient get 'm. So most doctors are completely against them and don't know shit about 'm. Most are even plainly scared and my regular once even almost got a heart attack when I told him.

So now when I'm on and each time I have a probleem, I see a different doc. Don't think they are very helpfull here if they treat ya and you still continue cycling. When you go to a doc however, its is in your best interest to tell the thruth or he could give you a treatment with is not suitable.

that was a great question...... I don't think I would say anything unless the doc was going to prescibe something or shoot something else in my body
