Pre-exhausting

...i occasionally pre-exhaust my quads before say squats or whatever...and i have seen a lot of others say this as well, but rarely do you hear of people pre-exhausting other BP's...do any of you p-ex other bp's and if not why?...

I do decline flys to for my chest when I'm doing a dumbbell day for chest, because my gym only has 100 lb bells.

Only in cases like presser said...if I am doing compound exercises where one of the supporting muscles is still sore. Out side of that, preexhausting a muscle only diminishes it's ability to lift HEAVY. And IMO, heavy is where the stimulation for a growth response is.

Always good to pre-exhaust body parts. Especially if there is usually heavy weights involved. By prehausting the muscle group you can't handle as much weight but can really burn those fibers. Becareful not to prehaust something that is needed for later, ie biceps first then try back movements. Tiys arms will give out first

I pre-exhaust shoulders with side laterals before presses. Otherwise, my triceps give out first.
