Too bad for King. I saw Chicherello about 15 wks B4 the show and he looked like he'd been dieting already...prolly came in too small by the time the show hit. I saw Gunter at the same time...fucking huge at 340lbs! I think he's going to keep moving up.

MR. OLYMPIA SHOW: FINAL WORDS
Plus: Cormier Responds to Rumors
FINAL WORDS: OLYMPIA COMPETITORS SOUND OFF
Team FLEX worked the phones the last few days and recorded the final thoughts of most of the Mr. Olympia competitors. Here's what they said before the Big Dance, along with their projected bodyweights.
Art Atwood: "Top five is what I'm shooting for and that's what I expect to get. The contest is wide open and I plan to make a huge impression in my Mr. Olympia debut." Projected bodyweight: 267-270 pounds.

Orville Burke: "I will come into the show bigger and in better condition than last year. I will not predict my placing. My goal is to finally get the respect that I deserve." Projected bodyweight: 260 pounds.

Bob Cicherillo: "After 16 years waiting for this, I'm ready to rock the house. I'll give people something to look at: a combination of symmetry, mass, everything. I'll be 250-255, dry as a bone."

Ronnie Coleman: "I will be in the best condition of my career. Every year I get close to hitting my target and something goes wrong. Last year, I did a photo shoot the day before the contest and that prevented me from peaking. This time I will save all my energy and conditioning for the stage." Projected bodyweight: 260 pounds.

Chris Cormier: "I'm looking at coming into the contest with a little bit more mass than I've previously shown. I'm looking forward to being able to compete with Flex Wheeler and Ronnie Coleman." Projected bodyweight: 258 pounds.

Nasser El Sonbaty: "I want to be back in the top six. I will come in carrying my usual mass. Previous results don't matter; so I don't want to talk too much. I'd rather put all my effort into my preparation for this year's contest. I don't have a target weight. My goal is to come in big."

Dexter Jackson: "I plan to finish in the top five-period." Projected bodyweight: 218 pounds

Dennis James: "I'm already tighter than I was last year. Shawn Ray's predicting me for top six, possibly top four. My waist is tighter. I have more back detail, and my quads are more separated than they've ever been. I look my best ever." Projected bodyweight: 250 pounds.

King Kamali: "I'm going to get anywhere between second and fourth place. That's my goal. Anything else would be a disappointment. I was 249 pounds last year; I'll be 257 this year, with 10% sharper conditioning than last time."

Kevin Levrone: "I don't know what bodyweight I'll be at. I make no predictions, just that the Kevin Levrone you're going to see will be a very entertaining experience. I've finally put my mind where my body is and linked the two together and become one. I feel good, man."

Lee Priest: "I don't have any last thoughts, except I am very hungry for food not for the title. I am just going in and do my best, that's all I can do. I know the top six will be crowded, as I see 20 guys are saying they are going to be in it, so who the hell knows." Projected bodyweight: 200-205 pounds.

Gunter Schlierkamp "I definitely think that I can make top 10. I would like to get a callout with Ronnie Coleman because I have more size this year. That would be interesting to me." Projected bodyweight: 300 pounds.

Ernie Taylor: "I'm the best I've ever been. I think I can be top 10." Projected bodyweight: 238 pounds.

Tommi Thorvildsen: "I go for number one, but I don't make any predictions. I think I can compete with the best guys. I have a few more tricks now." Projected bodyweight: 255 pounds.

Craig Titus: "I'm right on track and pretty f-king big! I'll be full, round and hard. I will not have any weak bodyparts. And, of course, I plan to put King Kamali in my rearview mirror and place ahead of him once and for all." Projected Bodyweight: 245 pounds.

CORMIER UNDER ARREST?
Gossip was flying in local gyms that Chris Cormier was arrested and jailed recently. the Real Deal himself visited FLEX HQ on Friday, October 11, and here's what he told us: "People are going to say what they want to say. I've heard a whole bunch of rumors about what has happened to me. They've said I've been arrested. They've said I'm in jail. They've said this and that. If that were true, I wouldn't be talking to you right now. The fact of the matter is I don't really want to elaborate on anything. I will be competing. I will be at the Olympia. I broke no laws. I'm fine with anything anybody wants to say about me. I'm alive and well and competing. They ought to give me first place just for getting onstage this year, with all the hurdles I've had in my personal life. It's a miracle that I can even compete. I'm looking forward to getting onstage and putting the personal dramas behind me."
WHEELER SAYS HE CLEAN FOR OLYMPIA
In an interesting development, Flex Wheeler claims that he is competing in the Mr. Olympia this year without having used any performance-enhancing pharmaceuticals at all. And he says that he has the documentation to prove it, copies of which are in custody of us here at FLEX.

To further substantiate his clean status, Wheeler has enlisted Victor Conte, head of Balco Labs and the creator of superstar supplement ZMA, to look over Flex's recent blood and urine analyses. According to Conte, Wheeler is telling the truth. "His biochemical profile is consistent with someone who has not used steroids," said Conte, who spoke with us on October 17. "His samples have been tested by reputable laboratories and have satisfied the chain-of-custody requirements. As of now, he's clean."

While Wheeler is contractually restricted from speaking to FLEX directly, the 36-year-old star visited FLEX HQ recently, and Editor-in-Chief Peter McGough was impressed with Wheeler's phenomenal physique: full, hard and cut, with all of Flex's trademark shapes and muscle bellies. McGough also noted Wheeler's healthy overall appearance and calm, assured demeanor. "His joints are actually smaller," said McGough. "He looked better than he has in years."

Will Wheeler avoid last-minute snafus that have tripped him up in past Olympias? We'll see.

Jay cutler?

I think he was pissed from last years results. He will make his money elsewere.

jay took th year off to put on some more size :D he knew after last year that ron was going to be hard to beat.. but he's got 100k and a new hummer from arnold

Cutler wanted to keep training hard and put on some size during the period that ROnnie was having to cut-up for the O. He's going to come in ready to take the Sandow next year I believe.

Good, I would like to see Jay come back and win the title.

well

...i usually hate all the Ronie bashers, but he does not have the best and biggest physique to me...i watched the whole thing and thought a few people looked better...most say he head and shoulders above and i know i dont have a great eye for detail, but he is not better than some...Levrone looked better and Dexter Jackson is straight up fucking amazing ...he looked the best all around...i like Coleman but he is not far ahead like a lot say...his back is the freakiest tho......
