Starting to do cardio

Are you going from nothing to twice a day? What are your goals (why are you adding cardio)?

That depends on your training history, fitness and goals. Why 2x per day? What's the push. Realize that running that much will strip both fat and muscle...quickly. Please clarify what you are inteding to do.

Heres the story.

I play college ball, and well i was getting ready for the season. I cracked a vetbra in my back, so my season was done, and along with my cardio. So i have put a few lbs on, but its around my gut. And its really bothering me. Should i wait till i start my cycle or should i work on it right now. I will still be lifting 5 days a week. The exercise should not bother me, im allways in good shape

I personally prefer interval training at a shorter length of time to moderate intensity for a longer period of time.

20 minutes Interval training is the way to go. I set max speed for 6 to 7mph and I am good.
