Food

This is a great site and I appreciate the replies to my questions about my 3rd cycle. Right now I'm at the end of my 2nd cycle (finishing it off with 4 wks of anavar). Hopefully, I'll work up enough money to get on my 3rd cycle soon!
In anycase, my question is about food. I've heard so many different opinions about how much protein to eat and carbs. Basically, I try to get my body weight in grams of protein per day ... is this right? And as far as Carbs. are they just as important? I'm getting sick of sucking down nasty ass protein shakes everyday and I want to know if there is some alternative? Basically, I want to keep the mass I have and continue to get bigger... The training methods I have down pretty good; it's the nutrition aspect I'm weak on and any advice will be appreciated, thanks!

How the hell can I get nearly 500 grams of protien a day? And how do you calculate the amount of protien in your lunch, dinner, ect. Example, a 6" turkey subway, 6" steak subway, 1/4 pound white chicken. How do you know?

shoot for 1.5x weight in protein when bulking, can go for more though i usually do. I eat endless carbs when bulking, but i have too or ill loose weight. hope this helps

Hey Bro,

There's tons of info out there. This site http://www.ag.uiuc.edu/~food-lab/nat/mainnat.html is one of my favorites, as far as the macronutrient content of fast foods go you can usually go the restaurants www site and look up their food.

For subway look here http://www.subway.com/web_docs/nutrition/USA_Sandwiches.stm

And, of course, you need to look at the labels on your food packages.

Keep a journal bro, just jot down everything you eat during the day and, when you get a few minutes, go back and add up the macronutrients to get your days totals. After a few weeks you'll get the hang of it.
