Show me the way!

Hey everyone. Newbie here.
I know I'm probably too young to juice up (19)...but being 6ft and only about 160lbs is not a good thing. I guess I could blame on my genetics (small built, asian).
My current suppliments consists of:
creatine
glutamine
multi vitamin
protein shake

My goal:
Gain a good 20-30lbs of muscle in a relatively reasonable amount of time.

A little history:
I was over-weight about a year ago .. (210lbs), so I went ahead and went on a "illegal chinese restauraunt worker" diet, and it proved to be useful because it stripped me down to a very light 150lbs in a mere 3.5 months.

I will post a pic of my scronny ass as soon as I pick up that polariod camera... and then yall can poke fun at my ribs.. ; /

How long have you been working out? Is your food intake up to par? Make sure you have your diet totally figured out before even thinking about gear.
 
DIET AND GOOD OLE FASHION ASS WHOOPIN IN THE GYM,AND RECUPERATION.THATS ALL YOU NEED FOR NOW BRO.MAKE SURE YOU DO ALL THE BASIC POWER MOVEMENTS.SQUATS,DEADLIFTS,FLATBENCH,AND MAYBE EVEN SOME POWERCLEANS.QUALITY FOOD BRO, OATMEAL,RICE,BEANS CHICKEN BREAST,STEAK,OLIVE OIL,FLAX SEED OIL,.I'M 21,SO I'M NOT ONE OF THE GRANDPAS BEING OVER-CONSERVATIVE,JUST TRYING TO SHOW YOU THE WAY
 
Thanks for your replys all. As for my training and diet... I train 6 days a week, abs everday and every other day for each muscle group. I think diet MIGHT be my problem. I can't really gain anything good with mainly carbohydrate and 2 shakes a day can I....

My lifestyle could also be another problem. I'm a donut cook, so I work from 10pm till 6am in the morning. During that time, I don't really eat anything. Plus I take ECA prior to working to keep down my appetite. Don't want to pig out on them donuts ya kno....
 
FIRST, ABS DON'T NEED TO BE TRAINED EVERYDAY 3-4TIMES A WEEK MAX IS MORE THAN ENOUGH,SECOND, DIET IS THE FOUNDATION BRO.YOU GOTTA DO SOME MORE REASEARCH.6 MEALS A DAY,BLAH BLAH BLAH,LOTS OF INFO OUT THERE
 
i used to eat every 2 hours a while back when my work schedual wasn't all messed up like now. I guess i better start eating a chicken breast every 2 hours then..?
 
pack some shakes or something and take them to work in a cooler. drink one every couple hours.
 
echii--- there are a lot of options out there for you to choose from. Eating the right foods is the biggest part of growing wheher you are using AS or not. Chicken breast, tuna, steak, protein shakes, veggies, and good multi vitamin, extra vitamin C, etc...

You did the right thing as far as dropping fat first, however it sounds like you dropped too much (210 down to 150lbs). I'm picturing a skeleton here.... Find yourself a good diet and a good training program and stick to it no matter what.
 
I'd also suggest training each muscle only once a week except for abs... I'd maybe do abs 2-3 times a week. Hit those muscles hard and seriously tear them down. I can't gain any mass if I train each muscle every other day and I wouldn't have time to get a good workout in for each muscle anyways.

I'd wait before you start dong AS though bro. I think AS are far more beneficial if you wait till your mid-late twenties. I don't seem to listen to my advice though.... I'm being a hipocrit w/ the advice I give because I've been doing AS since I was 19 and am now 21. I've gone from 172-218. Anyways try to resist the tempation to step over to the dark side.
