hunger - something is up

It's been going on for over five weeks now so I'm starting to worry.

For these five weeks I've been really hungry. And I mean really!!! The amount of food I am eating is enormous and I am now even almost eating continuously. I'm eating 7 to 8 large meals a day.

I really have not much control over it. I tried a few days ago to get over this on discipline but I just went through the roof after a couple of hours and become very anxious which ceased the moment I ate.

Off course my weight gain has been enourmous.

There also something with my bowels. I have an extreme amount of air in 'm. They rumble all day long. Maybe just because I'm eating so much.

What could be up?

The more you eat, the higher your capacity for eating will be as your stomach stretches out (at least in my experience). If you cut your meal size down for a couple days, you should start feeling full more quickly. You could also be sure to drink a liter or so of water before each meal, or add fiber to your meals to help you feel more full.

It's also possible you have a food allergy, or something in your diet is giving you gas.

I've done both. Doesn't really help. My thirst has also increased actually. I'm down to 6-8 litres a day. But I don't think drinking alot is a problem so.

It almost sounds as though your sugar's out of wack.
Be careful of the type of carbohydrates you're consuming & that will cut some of your hunger pains.
For instance, substitute brown rice for potatoes..

Also, eat a piece of fruite & drink a glass of water prior to eating your meals.
Peppermint gum will also satisfy you in between.
Sometimes all it takes is to chew on something for your brain to register that you've had something to eat.

As for your other problem.. umm perhaps winnie will be willing to exchange avatars with you for a lil while :p
