Guys i have some sever stretch marks on my arms, chest and armpits. please post them on how i can remove them at this time i am using Mind, Body and Soul cream from Bodybuilding.com. it has helped a little i have been using it for a month. so please post if u know anything that will help.

sorry bro, can't get rid of 'em. You can avoid more by being warm before you stretch and keeping those areas moisturized. You can minimize how visible they are by tanning and keeping the areas moisturized. Sorry bro, that's all I know.

damn, i have heard all that b4, but thnx anyways bros. i guess i will just get microderm.

if any one has any info in micro derm please post it.

Palmers Cocoa Butter

You can get Cocoa Butter at some grocerys...For strechmarks I prefer the solid form, but the lotion is good for lotion...Pregnant women have been using it forever after childbirth...

If you have heard it...Did you try it??? If so Is it not helping???

i usually rub vit e lotion on them, mine havent gotten any bigger, but they arent really starting to ligthen up in color though.

Bro, not everything works for everybody, but how are you going to know if you dont drop the $3 to get it...When women get pregnant they swell up like a beach ball...I know they are wrong about a lot of stuff j/k but why would they still be using it hundreds of years later...Also try mixing it with shea butter...

Stretch marks

I work with a guy that's about 245, and he hasn't got a single stretch mark on him. He told me that after he works out he puts olive oil on the most susceptible areas to stretch marks eg. back, shoulders, chest... Another thing he had suggested to me was using Bagbom (don't know if that's spelt right) cream. Appearently you can pick it up at any natural food store. I just started trying the olive oil, so I really can't speak from experience, hopefully things work out as well as they did for my co-worker.

you can't get rid of stretch marks, only prevent them. If you already have them, your best bet is to use PURE vit.E oil or cocoa butter cream as someone else suggested, to help lighten them & keep them from getting worse. Specially formulated lotions have too much BS in them when all you need is the main ingredient.

I am riddled with stretch marks. Some are nearly 8inches long and 1/2in wide running all over my delts, bis, pecs, armpits, lats...

This is what I believe:

Cocoa butter is a good way to prevent them but will not get rid of them once they appear.

They will never go away but over time will become nearly invisible. The tanner you are the less they will show up. Another way to help get rid of them is to you use a cream that helps peal off the top layers of skin. My doctor reccommended Mederma which is OTC and it did help somewhat but is expensive. I consider them to be a badge of honor bro, don't be ashamed of them.

Also, BIG TIP if you get the on one side they WILL appear on the othe side eventually so if you notice one starting on your right side put some cocoa butter on your left side ED to help prevent one from developing.

Cocoa butter simply increases skin elasticity, but does nothing for a mark that has already developed except possibly helping it from spreading but again COCOA BUTTER WILL DO NOTHING FOR PRE EXISTING STRETCH MARKS IMO...

Yea! I just started lifting weights last April in order to get in shape for Football last season. I am ridded with stretchmarks.
When your black they are more visible. My skin is brown. My stretch marks are pinkish-light brown , so mine are cleary visible. I don't really give a shit though cause other people see it and they don't care. I'd rather be strong and muscular with stretchmarks than to be weak and fat or weak and bony.

Well i can tell you they fade over time. "mine have" Just think of them as battle scars and be proud of them. Hell if you think you are bad you should see a Pro up close with no fake tan on.
