blood squirting out my ass!!!

I just went to give myself a shot (same place as allways in my but cheek). Everything was cool...but when I pulled out the pin blood went squirting across the room super soaker style...I'm not hemoraging because with 30 second of massage the blood stoped...Has this happened to anyone before...The only thing I did different was I pulled out considerably slower than usual...

I've had it run down my arm like I sliced a vein.. You just poked completey through a vein as I did... Hold your finger over it as you did... It happens...

If it squirted it was most likely an artery, sounds like it must have been a small one that you passed through as Gear said.
