Have you ever had a pin break?

I was wondering if anyone had experiences of pins breaking off while they inject? Yesterday when my friend pulled the pin out it was bent pretty bad. How often do they break off? And if they do, do they seem to enter the muscle while you start to freak out and wonder what the hell to do? I know you're not supposed to go in all the way just in case. Thanks bros.

that's why you don't put the pin i all the way.. hopefully if it does brake then you might be able to grab it. but if not the only thing i can think of is going to the doctor

the title made me cringe....but what chemical evolution said....ever heard of a doctor or nurse doin that?....i mean it is surgical steel or whatever....pretty heavy duty...

Pins can break, not often, but yes, it is possible. Like Gear101 said, just don't push it in all the way.

Okay, maybe my thoughts don't come out that clear when I type them. We stick ourselves. He pulled his own pin out and he told me to look at it. It was bent, yes where the plastic is attached. it was bent at about a 160 degree angle. We never put the pins in all the way, just in case. I was just wondering if it happened to anyone and if so, was it common. I'm careful as fvck when it comes time to play doctor. I didn't see how it could've bent so much, wouln't you feel it while inside? My friend said there was no extra pain or pressure of any kind.

nice job bending there...I have bent the tips when I get a twitch in the quads but that is nothing to brag about....

I burry that bitch everytime I stick myself. Never had a problem, or ever heard of a problem such as the pin breaking.
