Probably good for carbing up, it's just that the other carbs are complex, and rice cakes are (supposedly) about as simple of a carb as you can get.

BTW, are you taking ALA during your carb up? You might not need any help forcing the glycogen into your muscles at this point, but might force even more in and make you even more full looking.

A lof of health food type stores let you grind your own (there are usually places in the mall as well). If all else fails, just get a food grinder and dump in some roasted peanuts (out of their shells) and run them through it.

Look 2 tspn's of PB is not going to make or break your conditioning for your show. I don't know the nutritional breakdown of that pb but most are not terribly high on the GI scale. The fat is mainly mono-unsaturated isn't it? You will be fine. Fat but fine. j/k

my peanut butter story

Presser i was going to 2 jars a week of np/b.. my wife started to hide it, but i kept looking awesome after using, it helped in the diet also. I feel the fats in the nuts kicks in my metabolism a little and i get tigher too!

I remember the night before i left for jr's i must of woke up in the middle of the night an got some cause i found a spoon in bed with me the next morning with p/b on it ,, my wife wasnt happy
 
Back to the rice cakes, just wanting to make sure that you know that they are a simple carb (high glycemic).
 
NOw presser you know the PB is good for you man...hell even when I was cutting I was putting 2 tbl of pd on a rice cake sandwhich this was my fav. part of my day eating...hell I just at rice cakes and PB for my carbs and fat half the time....lol good luck bro and kick some more ass!
