View Full Version : Advice needed for diet/cardio

Ok, Im about 5'10, 220lb and want to cut up. I want to cut up now and maybe early next year hit up a cycle. So what type of cardio do you suggest and can someone help me out with a new diet? also was wondering if once i set this new diet and cardio up if you think i should throw in ala? thanks

Ala can never hurt man. As for the cardio 30 min in the morning first thing when you wake up should be sufficient, or do it right after you work out. Dont eat for about an hour after you do cardio, especially if you do it first thing in the morning. If you have to eat or is time to eat do a simple whey and water no simple carbs at all. IMO the best kinda cardio is 75% max heartrate and doint it on a cross trainer and bike, doing one for 15 min and the other for 15...I get bored doing cardio so I have to switch

Ok another question for you, how many times a week, and this is where i want some help with a diet. I usually take a post-workout shake....should i do away w/that bc all of the carbs or no? if someone could please help me out w/a diet and a reccomentdation for a postwork out shake id really appreciate it. I also take glutamine and creatine......should i stay with the creatine, i know it holds water, but thats not true fat.
Any responses would really be appreciated. thanks

Take the 5 g glut after workout and before bed, and make sure they are no carbs in your post workout/cardio shake whey and water. Do cardio 4-5 times a weeks or 7 days if you are really fat lol!

Well could someone help me come up with a range of carbs/protein/fat for each meal of the day, i usually eat 5 meals a day, and including the post workout shake. Also anymore opionions on what to do about the postwork out shake? thanks

your body will not turn simple carbs to fat riaght after training.. You bodies glycogen stores need replenished and a protien drink alone wont work... diet ing i use a banana or beverly Mass maker!!!!!! again secret!!!
right now i use
Schwartz hyper cell with vanilla protien in it!!!!!!
what ever your carb count is for the day day 150 grams use 50-75 in your post drink!!!!
