Is synthroid the same as t-3 for cutting purposes. Any help will be appreciated.

Yeah kinda...synthroid is considered T4, not near as effective as T3! Synthroid is alot weaker therefore higher doses are needed and sometimes still not near as effective as lower doses of T3.
And yes they are used for cutting, especially well when on gear! T3 or cytomel/cynomel are the best IMO

DO NOT TAKE SYNTHROID IN PLACE OF T3! Bodybuilders should not use T4. It's a much weaker drug designed for long term use in patients with chronic thyroid disease. 100mcg of T4 corresponds to 25mcg of T3 and offers equivalent thyroid support; however, this does not translate to equal weight loss benefits. It has made itself on sources' lists simply because it is widely available and extremely cheap.

Yep do not take the T4. Only take T3 for cutting.

far from similar. synthroid is t4 as explained earlier. yes t4 is much less potent than t3 but t4 can cause more problems such as hypothyroidism. how? t4 has a very long half life as compared to t3.
on the other hand t3 can be dangerous too. there is a condition known as thyroid storm that needs to be avoided. if one overdoses on t3 than you may see this happen, symptoms include vomiting, sweating, et. al. the end result can be fatal, so if you suspect this, than check yourself into the ER
