Yesterday I buried a friend of mine.....he was 41 years old. He was a great guy..just got married to a beautiful 33 year old woman 8 months ago. He worked his ass off from about 12 years old until he was 39. He built a very succesful business in those years....so successful that a large company purchased it from him for a very substatial amount of money. In the last 2 years he and his girlfriend/wife had beed traveling all over the world since he is now retired.
Last Wednesday he and his wife were going to South Bend, Indiana to pick up a 39 Roadster that was going to be traded for some type of old Harley(he was a very avid Harley Davidson guy.) They were traveling on I-80 pulling a car trailer...my friend took off his seatbelt to take off his jacket because he was hot....before he could get it(seatbelt) put back on....a semi in the slow lane changed lanes without giving a shit (like they always do) and clipped the rear of his truck sending it and the trailer into the median rolling several times. My friend was ejected from the truck and the truck came to rest on his lower body. His wife was uninjured and held his head in her arms until he died...right on the side of the road.
After speaking with her yesterday going to the funeral and visiting there unbelievable home last night (they just completed it) i came to realize that so many things in my life that I take for granted. And how all the money, muscles ,good looks or material bullshit we acquire in our short lives means absolutely nothing.I justed wanted to share this with you..so maybe you all could take that extra minute in your life to tell the people that mean a lot to you the the things that need to be said. Thanks...

My friends name is Kevin Lowe and today is his birthday.................456 ..... Rest in peace homie:(

I'm very sorry for your loss although I'm glad you chose to share it with us. Every now and then we all need to hear about somethig like this to help put our petty complaints into perspective. Take care bro. Our thoughts will be with you and your friends.

Sorry to hear of your friend's death. I've been there and know what a hard thing it is. May God rest his soul and comfort his wife and family.

I was side-swipped in my Mustang last Februrary by a semi and God was with me when it happened. The first few hours I was really pissed about the bastard just driving off and not giving a damn, but when I sat down and really thought it out, I thanked God for not letting me die that day.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend and you along with his family will be in my prayers.

Good luck and keep your head up.

456... my grandmother died at 1.40am this morning... and as i've had too much to drink... i'm sure they are lifting weights together.. ;)

i say that in good taste btw.. this is the first person of my immediate family to leave my life... a great woman.. i'm gonna post on it. cuz.. well i'm wasted.. and it's deserved..

your bro is in my prayers.. and chances are they are both looking over us... telling us how stupid we are sometimes.... but at the same time.. they look in awe, and know we think of them all the time...

peace bro.. and the best to you and everything you are about... people know these things in life... and beyond... they are watching.. and we always listen... take care brother.

456 when I was a kid I had an older friend from the neighborhood. He was in the older crew. He took a liking to me and alway's watched out for me. His nickname was Pugzy, He was thick as fuck. He was like a big bro to me. He taught me how to play ball, how to fight, how to be a friend. Pugzy died in an accident when his car was hit by a truck also. I am now older than Pugzy ever lived to be, and to this day I still look up to him and the way he lived his life. Not 1 day goes by I don't think about him.
Stick and 456 it takes time but one day the memories will stop being painful and will make you smile and feel good. You were fortunate to have such great people in your life.
Take care,
Choke
