Madchemists messed up his wrist!

damn guys i am finally back in the gym. i am hitting hit hard my strenght is the same even after a good 5week break. but damn i messed up my wrist curling. what is the best way i could heal it. i can still work out though but damn its uncomfortable. so what should i do??
 
bro my right wrist is messed up, i dont masturbate with my right i have always done it with left. i swear i have always done with my left.
 
Your left wrist is too strong. Once your right stops hurting, switch to that one ;)
 
When my wrist was messed up a couple months ago, I went and saw the ortho. He just said to not do anything that hurt it for about a week, and that cleared things up. My wife had wrist pain, and they gave her a cortizone shot, which cleared it right up. As soon as mine stopped hurting, I started working hard on strengthening my forarms (dedicated exercises), and haven't had a problem since. My advice is to try and not do anything that hurts for a week or so, or till it feels better, and then work on strengthening it. Concentrate on your form as well. If it doesn't feel better soon, go let the doc look at it.
 
Is your forearm sore (tendonitus type of pain), or is it the joint? If it's the forearm, than do as wierdal said... give it a break, and then work on strenghtening it. I had problems with the tendon running along the outer forearm (the less hairy side). this helped it alot.
 
Spend extra time on your weakest parts until the wrist heals-also I would stay away from using straps until its healed-DO NOT RUSH-thats when most injuries occur-when our bodies tell us to back-off and we dont!!
