Who's traveling These Holidays?

I am, went half way across the country, smooth as hell.

Although the new Gov't assigned Screeners really have a hard-on and are looking to bust balls. I am all for the security precuations but does the dude have size me up, maybe it was me sizing him up...I dunno...LOL

I've flown around some and thought they were thorough but didn't seem to be assholes about it. I think they might be a little uptight about things since the security system is new and they know people are watching them like hawks.
A week after the 9-11 attacks I went to work doing a re-build at a nuclear power plant. I got used to lots of security checks every day back and forth to work, and I had already passed a security background check and had unescorted access within the plant. So maybe I'm already accustomed to it.
Recently I hauled my gear in my checked bag in and out of the country and had no problems.

I've heard of many people doing this with no problems, it really makes me think how easy biological chemicals used for warfare can be smuggled in without a problem...

I don't know if I'd have done it if I didn't have a prescription, then again I wouldn't want to mess up my schedule. If I had looked nervous I bet they would have checked me more closely. Also, U.S. citizens don't get the same attention comming in as foreigners do. Don't know if that would prevent it though.

Man, I have to work 5pm till 2am Mon- Fri right through the holidays so consider yourselves lucky. And to top it off, New Year's Eve is my birthday! I hope I can get off early.
