what kinda equipment does your gym have??

free weights, lots of hammer strength equiptment, lots of cable stuff (that I don't normally use), and dumbbells, but only up to 100 lbs (sucks). Smith machine, 2 squat racks, various benches, cable cross/pulldown bar with pullup bars... Various cardio machine (bikes, treadmills, stair steppers, and life fitness eliptical).

Pretty much the same as weird al's place. I work out at a world gym so it's fairly well laid out. Lots of eye candy as well. I use most all of the free weight and some of the hammer strength and cables. I do cardio at home so I don't use that stuff. As for the eye candy I don't use that either. The wife frowns on that.

Mostly hammer strength and body masters....dumbells go up to 150 which is OK I guess although when I was at World's in Worthington, Ohio those guys had dumbells up to 185. They were a handfull to say the least, when I rowed them my buddy had to weigh down the back of the bench 'cause it kept rising into the air!

All the equipment at my gym is from Technogym. For cardio stuff this is very good stuff IMO. As it comes to weight, their are almost only machines and little or no free weights, which sucks bigtime. Also, the machines they have could be considered for rehab and they sometimes have real awkward ranges of motion and the weight stacks sometimes is to small. On other hand, if you suffer from an injury or for those with bad joints, I guess this equipment can be a real benefit.
I really do miss two things though. One is a small bench to stand on, for doing stiffed leg dead's and for standing barbell calf raises. The other thing we don't have is a decline bench. Off all the machines we have there isn't any standing calve raise either, which I think is great. and since there is no bench like I said, the standing calf raise is alas not included in my workout schedule.

I work out at my apartments gym....very nice, freeweights from 5's-100's, alot of hammer strength equipment(leg press, bench, shoulder, etc), treadmills & bikes...and so on! for an apartment it's great!

hammer and free.. is all i really use.. they have some stuff upstairs.. not use it.. it has three different spots to put the weight on and then sometype of screw on it to make it seems like it has more weight on it.. nice looking stuff and they have alot of it.. but no one uses it..

My gym has alot of homemade stuff. Alot of machines the owners made themselves so they have big weight stacks alot have 300lb stacks. They work well. We have lots of free weight. 2 sets DB one goes 5-120 the other 5 to 135. One of the few gyms i have been in that has 12 100lb plates. Great for leg press and heavy deads. 6 very nice treadmills and a few bikes.

Just a small gym but has had some tough guys come thourgh over the years. 3 550+ benchers 3 500+ benchers 1 750 squater, 4 600+ squatters 3 state bodybuilding champs and numerous of champs of smaller shows. great place to work out. not fancy but has what u need to grow.

gym

funny. it took about an hour to and an hour back from the gym so i got my own bench and weights. don't laugh but my bench cost $50.00 at kmart ant the weights are 100lbs by weidner for $19.99. but guess what ? i can beneh. work on legs and chest etc. i also use each variation to create other routines. it also has chest presser and i have 25lb dumbells. if you can't afford expensive toys do it this way until you can. at 177lbs i look alot bigger and better than the so called juice kings that workout at the high class gums in pa.

Dumbells up to 225! The usual benches and squat racks, a smith machine and 4 Hammer Strengths. Leg press and Hack squat machine. 2 sided cable system and lat pulldown and row machine (HammerStrength). And alot of Cybex machines.
I mainly stay with the free weights but regularly throw in the Cybex and HS machines to hit the muscle a litlle differently.

I use a couple of these real nice sand weights that I got at a garage sale. They're a few years old but do the trick. Also, I have one of those real sweet weight benches with a vinyl pad for cushioning on it. For legs I use the thighmaster, abs, abdominizer. I'm prolly gonna do a show soon so I'm trying to get my neighbor to come off of her nordic-track gold for cardio.

all ive got is about 1000 lbs in free weights, power blocks, 2 other sets of dumbells, 3 olyimpic bars. a power tech machine, a olyimpic bench, squat rack, portable bench, lat machine with about 15 attachments, a bent olimpic tree to hold some of the plates. oh yeah, almost forgot , a hardley used treadmill. my basement looks like a gym. sometimes it smells like one too.
