critique my bulking diet

been on first cycle for about two weeks now,don't feel i am gaining the weight i should.have a contest coming up in june and want to dial in my diet for bulking.stats 5'6" 170 lb.hard gainer

7:00 8 egg whites w/ 2 yokes
9"30 oatmeal w/ bannana
11:00 enlarge2 w/ pb&j
1:00 pb&j
3:00 enlarge 2 pb&j,bannana,salad
5:00 full course dinner example chicken,potato,broccli maybe fish/spegitti,steak,rice,it varies.
9:00 cottage cheese protien shake,tbl. spoon p/b
drink about gallon of water through out day.

i don't eat to dirty cause of contest.should i change the clean diet sinse it is bulking. i need to hit 180-185lb.

A couple things I notice off the bat - your 7am meal doesn't have any carbs. Your 9:30 meal doesn't have protein. you 1pm meal doesn't really have any protein. From 5-9pm seems like a long time to go without eating, even after a big meal. I like the no carbs on the 9pm meal, though. I like to make sure I get both protein and carbs on each meal, and never go more than 3 hours without a meal, during the day. Also, when's your workout fit in there? Finally, I'd up the water as much as you can - I think 1gal isn't quite enough.
 
Some good points made by weirdal there, my concern is only 1 gallon of water. You should definitely up that to around 2g.

too vague-you need to track caloric breakdown each meal-ie:50g protein,50g carbs,30g fat (total per meal)-6x per day-this puts you at 4000 cals per day which along with 1 1/2 gal water ED will put the weight on!!

That would help.

The general advice that you have been given so far is pretty good, in my opinion.
There are so many variables that you didn't list that it would be too hard to give you an accurate answer based on this limited info. You would need to give alot more info than what you did in your original post to be able to give you an answer that is specific to your situation.

I really would like to use your professional services SKIP,but right now it's not in my budget.since that last post i have put on a few more pounds.my bulking cycle ends feb.24 my show is june 7. how am i going to do a cutting cycle in that time frame?i can't do a show mid summer cause of the heat temp.i have to drink lots of water at work cause it's hot in my shop.i may try to do another in the fall.

How far out will you be by Feb 24th??
If you don't go too high in the offseason, you could still do it.

I understand completely about the budget. If you change your mind, let me know. You came recommended by a respected bro so I will always make time for you, if need be.

ok im here!!!!!!!! been playing with the gamecube lol!!! anyway.. no protien for 5 hrs eat...! also no carbs in am meal!!! add in a mct.flax.or weed oil (hemp). no multivits...... ripped chef talked about caloric intake!! if your not gaining eat.. also you need a protien with ALL pbj 's

7:00 add oatmeal to this one and a protein shake. You can knock down the eggs by two if you can't handle it all.
9:30 pb&j with some other snack
11:00 LUNCH!!!! Some kind of food Burger King etc....whatever you want.
1:00 Looks fine
3:00 Loos fine
I'm not sure when you go to the gym but before you go take protein and eat something also then when you return home from the gym take protein again then eat dinner.
 
Just a rule of thumb if you are worried bout gaining lots of fat you should take in 1/3 of your dal calories for breakfast...yeah Iknow that is a lot but where this a will there is a way...hell yeah on the BK I love me some double hamburgers and onion rings w/a big dr. pepper!!! ONe of the best off season mealS1
 
DP i'll throw in another protien about5:00.i already take beverly vitamins.also i forgot to mention i have a piece of cracked wheat toast/jelly with my eggs.is this enough carbs in am meal?

flax seed oil?why and at what time.how much per day?

i do a split work out routine.different muscle group a day. 12:00 and 7:30-?2 days off a week.

mon 12:00 chest
tue 12:00 bi 7:30 shoulder/traps
wed 12:00 tri 7:30 usually a make up day or a lagging part
thur 12:00 legs
fri 7:00 back
sometimes sunday to do legs again if they are not sore.are lacking a bit this is why i hit thim twice.

this is the main routine.if something dosent feel like it wasn't hit hard enough,i'll hit it again.i try to make every body part sore after working out.sometime it means lift very,sometimes i have to do 1,000000 reps.sometimes i need to try all new excercises.

SKIP i'm not sure what "how far out i am means" weight?
this is the first contest,so i don't know if my weight is high or not.
seeing as how i am a hard gainer,i'm hoping it come off lots easier than it went on.but i don't know.tell who ever gave me a recommend. thank you. well gota go eat and gym time. peace.
 
two words-OVER TRAINING-perfect diet-loads of top quality gear and it will all be for naught if you don't recover fully between training sessions-more is not better!-true you can recover much quicker on cycle but I think "training until sore" and "1000's of reps"-are mistakes-I think Lee Haney said it in a way I understood best-"the object in muscle growth is to STIMULATE not ANNIHILATE"-just my opinion.PS-you can do any show you want to-just a matter of how hard you want to make it and how dedicated you are!!-Train Hard and Good Luck!!:D
 
Take 2-3 servings of flax oil a day in addition, this is an easy 220-330 cals...and dont do legs twice in a week, if you are working them correctly you will not be able to do them twice in one week!
