years ago a vet told me running was good to burn fat, but he said no more than 15 min or you lose muscle, is this true, any info will be appreciated

I dunno. IMHO it's very personal. I know a few good bro's who run (and I mean RUN) 4 times a week for an hour or so and who still look way bigger than a lot of bro's at the gym.

Personally I never felt I've lost muscle on aerobic exercises, rather it hardens muscle. Guess it just depends really on your genes.

yes it does burn fat as with any cario does. My beleif for what it's worth anything over 30 mins will cause you to lose size and strenght hence same symptoms of cutting. Weather you burn muscle or not I would say no more like cyber said make it more defined and ripped looking.

It's a tough debate. I believe I submitted an article though in the Articles Forum about this if you want to read up on it.

What are you trying to acheive? if its mass in the leggs i would recomend walking with maybe sprints! this way your afecting the slow and fast twitch fibors!

Look at your GOOD running backs! these guys have big quads and usually great hams!

Now running for running will harden you burn fat ALSO and cause you to loose size in your thighs!

running is only effective if you stay in a target heart rate--if its too much you will lose muscle and not fat---a lower THR is better at burning fat

sprint work for me - try training like a receiver for a while, you'll come around!

dpsquat is right on... look at distance runners and then look at sprinters! One has wirey little (but strong) legs, theother has huge strong legs.
