Usnic Acid

Anybody tried usnic acid? All the old threads about it, everyone was talking about trying it, never any results.

Also any links to order some? The guy I was going to order from can't get it anymore because of a supplier problem. This stuff is legal, so I didn't think it would be a problem to ask about where to get it, if it is I will delete it.

Come on help a brotha out is this stuff good or what?

I've used Sodium Usinate (basically Usnic Acid) and I think I recall losing a few pounds over a 7 day period. I didn't have any unbearable side-effects until I jumped the does up to 1.5 g a day which resulted in the worst migrain ever. I still plan on doing another cycle of it this coming spring, though.

Anyone else?

a guy from my gym was in the hospital from using. i would rather take that DNP stuff.

Really, what happened to him? Was he on anything else? From most of the research I have read it has very few side effects.

Usnic Acid is worthless, period- not bio-available. Sodium Usinate on the other hand is a different story. I've tried Sodium Usinate several times and it works well. I've also heard about the horror stories that fatnruthless mentioned and they maybe actually very true.

Sodium Usinate was one of the key ingrediants in LipoK (Syntex). Do a search on LipoK, Syntex and law suits and there are a plenty.

I personally have never had problems with it, but I'd rather do DNP. Cheaper and more effective and just possibly a whole lot safer (if used in a resonable fashion).

1-Fast400 used to carry Sodium U but he had to pull it because he couldn't get insurance anymore. He told me right before the Arnold that someone was going to start carrying it but haven't heard anything since. You might want to contact him and ask.

I've asked around about this and everyone has said DNP is more effective.
