Pros and cons?

Thinking about getting my chest and shoulders waxed!

Heard it lessons the thickness and the coursness of the hair when it does gro back but I want to be smooth!


Prices? any tips?

I've done my chest and Back before. It hurts like hell and it grew back fairly quickly. I now prefer the Nair route or clippers - I tend to have less problems with ingrone hair when I go with clippers.

By the way, did anyone see the rerun of the body waxing skit on Jack Ass the other night. It was painful to watch.

I waxed my back once, I broke out badly had a ton of ingrown hairs, it sucked. Not sure what I could have done to prevent it, never tried again.

I wax my arms and back. It works well. It does take a while for it to grow back completely. It just takes a long time to do. I always go back to shaving for convienece.

I get it waxed by this chick I know that works at a salon. Depends on the area that you live in on the price, a back is about $60, both legs $100-120. And so on. I lucked out as she only makes me pay $10 for the wax. I get from head to toe done and the only place that hurts is the center of the chest. I've had it done several times and have slept through all of them. It should last 4-6 weeks, but remember with gear and excess protein it will grow faster. But after about a year of continuous treatment there should be very little hair growth at all. The girl that does me said that she only waxes he box every 6 months. It works.
