Has anyone missed a package at their house from UPS that had to be signed for and then went to pick it up at UPS and signed for it there, is that safe?

I don't think it raises any flags, just because you were not there to sign it doesn't make it seem fishy. Although, I have always know UPS to make 2 delivery attempts before they make you pick it up at there office.

Was this the first delivery attempt?

BTW, I can't tell you not to worry, because there is always something to worry about.

If you call them you can have a package held for pick-up after only one delivery attempt. I think you could even arrange to pick it up with no delivery attempt. What ever is most convenient for you.

Oh, I see now...safe?
I would think so, that sort of thing happens all the time.

If the package does not require a signature it's up to the driver weather or not to release it and leave it. If you live in town or in an apartment where someone might steal it they generally won't leave it. It is perfectly normal to stop there a sigh for a package.
