View Full Version : MAD'z Keto Diet Plan. i start this monday!!! SUGGESTIONS PLEASE...

i will be doing my first keto diet for the first time.

i bought some keto stix to double check it i am really in keto mode.

So here is the plan


Meal 1
5eggwhites, 1 whole egg
6-8oz. Lean Steak

Meal 2
Shake: 35g Protien, 1tsp Coffee, 1tbs FlaxSeed Oil

Meal 3
6-8ozChicken, 2cupsBroccolli

Meal 4
Shake: 35g Protien, 1tsp Coffee, 1tbs FlaxSeed Oil

Meal 5
Chicken Salad with raisons, fat free dressing, olive oil.

Meal 6
1cup cottage cheese
35g Protien


please tell me what i am doing wrong. from 17% i wana get down to 10% asap

so please post your opinions.

i would throw the raisins out,and watch the carbs in the cottage cheese, i eat a chicken breast with a cucumber salad for meal 6.fat free dressings are usually high in carbs. better to go with oil,vinegar and some parmeasean cheese.brocolli is ok cause it's fiburous carbs, but don't over do it, some people wouldn't use it. how much do you weigh?

Watch the dressing! In general, low fat means high carbs and sugars. Also, supposedly you can throw in some ala at the beginning to get into keto faster! If you have the keto sticks, you can also add carbs in a little at a time with ala (since you can monitor whether you're in ketosis).

thanx for the opinons guys, yeah i was planning to kick in a lil carbs after workout with ala. but very little.

i weight 197 6.1 17%bf

I would stop after about 4-5 weeks and back to a balanced diet for a few weeks.
After about 4 weeks I started to loose muscle.

thats what i kinda had in mind too. that i should stop in 4 weeks. so if i do everything rite about how much fatloss are we looking at here.

meal? if its the one with the raison i would use strawberries the cals seem low! also the fat seems low also!

the fat would be pretty moderate.
i will cook every thing in olive oil so that will bump the fat and cals.

my post work out will probably be a huge shake may be a bit carbs and ALA

that diet doesn't seem to have nearly enough fat for a true keto diet... seems more like just a very clean diet.

whole eggs, cheese, ranch dressing, heavy whipping cream are all big parts of my CKD. you can try it though and see what kind of success you acheive. maybe it'll work wonders for you.

Here is my complete updated plan i spent a lot of time in making this. the only reason why i am eating differently cuz i had to adjust my schedule with my classes.

Monday/Wednesday/Friday

Meal #1 7:00am
6oz. Steak
5 whole eggs
3 fat free slices of cheese

Meal #2 11:00am
Protein Shake:
35gProtien
10gGlutamine
1tbs Flax Seed Oil
1tbsPeanut Butter

Meal #3 3:00pm
8oz. Chicken Breast
1-cup Broccoli


Meal #4 6:00pm
1-cup Fat free cottage cheese
½ cup peanuts/raisons

Meal #5 9:00pm
Protein Shake:
35gProtien
10gGlutamine
1tbs Flax Seed Oil
1tbs Peanut Butter

Tuesday/Thursday

3 slices of bread

Meal #2 12:00am
1 small pizza
12oz. diet coke

Meal #3 3:00pm
1bananna
1cup cottage cheese with peanuts.

Meal #4 6:00pm
1 baked potato
6oz.steak or chicken
1-cup veggies

Meal #5 9:00pm
Protein Shake:
35gProtien
10gGlutamine
1tbs Flax Seed Oil
1tbs Peanut Butter


Sunday

Meal #1 8:00am
3 oat bran pancakes, ¼ cup butter pecan syrup
6 egg whites, 1 whole egg: omelet
3 slices of bread

Meal #2 11:00am
Protein Shake:
35gProtien
10gGlutamine
1tbs Flax Seed Oil
1tbs Peanut Butter

Meal #3 2:00pm
8oz. Chicken
1½ cup rice
1 cup broccoli

Meal #4 5:00pm
1bananna
1cup cottage cheese with peanuts.


Meal #5 8:00pm
1 baked potato
6oz.steak or chicken
1-cup veggies
