Need some experts in here. I just finished week four of my dbol. Starting week 5 of deca/test I'm getting some serious water retention in my ankles. Do you think it is from the dbol or the deca? I'm taking .5 mg of liquidex ed. This is my first time with either of the two so who knows. Guess I can just wait and see if it goes down since I'm off the dbol now. Here is what my cycle looks like.

week 1-4 35mg Dbol
week 1-12 500mg Test eth
week 1-12 400mg Deca

D bol the deca is just starting to kick in IMO guess it depends when the bloating started.

tough call then. I'd up the liquidex and watch the salts keep an eye on the blood pressure also bro.

A few you can try to reduce bloating:

1) Drink 1 gal of H2O/day
2) Limit your sodium intake
3) Take in plenty of potassium as potassium will trigger fluid loss and SODIUM loss as well which continues to promote a normal fluid flushing vs. the retention you get when you have too much sodium in your body. Both potassium and sodium are considered part of your electrolyte balance.
4) Train hard and heavy and make sure you sweat like a pig.

***With high water intake, you MUST keep potassium (and other vitamins & minerals too!) coming in. Without proper potassium levels, you can get muscle cramping, which typically starts in the calfs, and even end up with a heart attack! I like cooking with a potassium salt instead of a sodium salt (No-Salt is the brand). Bananas and potatoes are the two highest natural sources of potassium.
***Definitely check your BP every few days if you get headaches or get light headed, etc... If your BP stays high after doing all that, you should see a doc right away.

Thanks for the replies. It is weird how I'm only holding water in my ankles. I get the feeling it is from the dbol. I will know soon since I just got done with it.

1) I have been drinking 1-1 1/2 gal a day so good there.
2) Sodium hasn't been a problem, Im eating pretty clean.
3) This is something I need to do.
4) been doing that.

I checked my blood pressure the other day. 136/86 Which is a higher then normal. Before I started the cycle it was 120/80. I take a multi vitamins every morning. I need to start eating bananas every morning.

My ankles swelled really severly from d-bol as well and to top it off my knees and quads swelled equally badly from the crappy TT sust I was taking. My swelling subsided after I discontinued the d-bol and did pretty much what bstrong said - limit sodium intake, drink shitloads of water and make sure to get plenty of potassium (I used multi's and bananas)....I went to the doc too and he also gave me prescription diuretics! Should come in handy if I ever compete

watch the diuretics especially if you take postassium tabs or cook with the No-Salt. You can force in TOO much postassium that way and IT IS TOXIC in too high of a concentration.

BSTW gave you some good advice. It's probably a combanation of all three. With the dbol out of the equation, give it a week and see where you are then.

The dbol will definetly make you retain fluid but the test can be a problem for some. Just because the Deca takes a while to kick-in don't think that it won't start contributing to water retension. You have allot active in your blood after just a few weeks. You just don't notice the kick until about the 4-5th week.
