sweet jesus!!!! I just got the worst case of cramps ive ever had!!!! I was sitting here on the comp. and both hamstrings cramped up on me pulling my legs up under my chair. I fell to the floor and couldnt do anything except squirm around on the floor like a wounded seal untill I could force them straight again. And of course my family is watching and laughing histaricly the entire time.

What the hell causes them??? I thought it was contributed to lack of potassium, dehydration or muscle exertion. But I get enough water and potasium, and I didnt work out legs tonight.

Anyone know? God knows I dont want to ever experience that again.......

I'd guess potasium or dehydration. Are you taking clen right now?

Keep in mind that the daily intake of potassium is 3500mg. I figured I was getting enough also and suffered from leg cramps like that in the middle of the night several times per week. Potassium supplementation fixed the problem for me. Proper hydration as you mentioned is also extreemly important.

I'm currently in the 2nd week of clomid, nothing else except some b12.

Taz: My father has that happen to him also, middle of the night.

also, how much potasium is in a banana? I thought it was like 1000

I think there is only 300mg in a banana. Get some V8, most of the different kinds have about 700mg in a 6oz serving. Buy the vegtable juice, not the splash.

pedialite is a great source if you can handle the taste. I like to cook with NoSalt and I eat 1-2 bananas/day and eat at least 1 baked potato each day off-season. I'm a little surprised you didn't get at least mild cramping in the calfs first. Generally, that's the group that bears the brunt while you walk around and thus that's usually the first place that low electrolytes cause muscle failure (that's what the cramping is!) If in 24 hrs (or LESS) this doesn't stop, SEE A DOC!!! You can DIE bro if it really is a LOW potassium level. Guys that drink lots of water need MORE potassium, btw.

My quads cramp like that after a heavy leg day....if I sit down too long and then stand quickly or even if I flex my quads when yawning or something. It's like they lock up or something
