fat in your diet

why is it important to have some fat in your diet? why cant you just eat fish, rice, beans, oatmeal all day?
 
I've read a lot of different articles on this and I try to stick to the anabolic 2000 diet when "on." It's mostly a 3-2-1 diet. I've read you need a certain amount of fat to help process the protein. Fish has fat as does oatmeal. Some people disagee and go lower with fat, however I've been happy with the results.
 
you definetely need your essential fats in your diet. Taking in essential fats will help you burn more fat. It also helps increase metabolism, immune system, and hormone production.
 
You need fat in your diet, if you don't get enough, it usually results in lower energy, and also decreases test levels.
 
Good fats, like those found in cold water fishes and nuts will help keep your hair, skin and nails in better condition. WAAAY back in the day when I was a teen, I cut almost all of the fat out of my diet and I just felt like I needed to shed my skin or something....hair was dry and brittle and my skin was always scaly
