making the board better - please read

Hey guys - have you noticed that there are almost no women posting on our board, especially in this forum? This is a great board, but I know for a fact that the general attitude displayed towards and about women are driving/keeping the women away!

As great as this board is, it is so much more fun when (like 6 months ago) we have a lot of participation from both sexes. I know a lot of boards have mods that are very agressive with patrolling any negative comments towards women, but we should be able to moderate ourselves on such matters (assuming we want the participation of women - imagine your sister is reading the board, or your mom ).

I think dropping the xxx forum is a good step. And maybe we need a "Guy's Lockerroom" forum where we can not worry about offending people. Anyway, just trying to see what you guys think.

I would also like to see more traffic in the Athletes & Sports Training forum, there really isn't a good board dedicated to sports training.

So why don't women want to stay?? I know that in the past when women's pics were posted, some members left pretty trashy comments IMO and i'm wondering if the same women got harassed by shitty e-mails as well.....good job by the mods since then to cut down on the comments and show our girlies some respect

I think they like running with the big dawgs.
But if they would come back and check it out Iam sure
we would all be gentlemen, and show them are bigger dawgs.
