Glutamine

how much glutamine should you have a day. Ive heard 10-20g/day others say 30-40 g/day? which is right? and when is thebest time to take it? i mix mine in with my wieght gainer drink after my workout.
 
I've always heard to take 5-10g post workout, and another 5-10g before bed.
 
Oral glutamine is useless. Go over to geared's board and read the studies for yourself. Biggest waste of money next to HMB.

Can you post the link from geared's board? I've always thought this was the case so I just quit taking mine. Know what? I'm not seeing/feeling any differently other than my wallet has a few more bucks per month in it.
 
I take 20mg before bed. I notice that by taking it this way, I wake up less sore after workouts than normal. I really don't know if I'm getting any benefits such as fat loss or muscle gain from it though. I doubt it.
 
I didn't get crap off glutamine so I stopped taking it. I don't get any more sore than when I took it, don't see any difference in body compostion either.
