So I'm not dumb enough to try to sneak my enant and fina onto the airplane when I go out of town at the end of this month, but what about slin?? Hypothetically, it could be for my diabetes....
I went through the same thing recently. I contacted the airline and asked what I needed to do to have my meds in a carry on. They assumed I was talking about insulin. I was told I would be allowed to have medicine and needles, but would need to declare it and present a prescription or note from my doctor. I decided not to hassle with it and just packed my stuff in a checked bag. Didn't have any problems that way, and even went through customs . (was an international flight). This was back in early Dec. so I don't know if the new x-ray screening of bags would make any difference but I don't think so. They are looking for bombs, and you are allowed to carry knives ect. in checked luggage because you don't have acces to them during the flight.
Good luck, and have fun juicing on your vacation.
Now that I think about it, they did have the new x-ray machines in service at the time. Hope this helps
