Tricep Difference ??

My triceps are a little different looking when flexed. My right one has that horseshoe only when my left side as the horseshoe with a little bit bigger medial head. How do I bring up the size of the medial head on my right arm to match the left? What is a good exercise to isolate it?

good question, the Athletes strength forum is pretty slow, I'm going to move this to the Anabolic forum you can probably get an answer there better.

For one thing, make sure you do dumbbell excercises so that both arms are forced to do equal work...

I have the same problem. However, with me it's due to the fact that I have nerve damage in my right shoulder which hinders the gains in my arm due to the lack of proper oxygen and nutrients being supplied.

Overhead tricep extentions work the medial head. Try them single arm, dumbell or cable. Also try laying on a flat bench and doing single arm tricep concentration extentions. Really squeeze at the top of each rep. Keep you arm stationary. Good luck.

I usually do atleast one dumbbell exercise for my upper body. This keeps me symetrical. I would recommend that you use dumbbells or do one arm press downs, or one arm reverse grip press downs.

I still stick with the basics, and my arms tend to "grow" equally....close grip bench, straight-bar skullcrushers, v-handle pressdowns...sometimes I do overhead DB extensions, but unless I can get a spotter with the 150, I'm kinda afraid to do it by myself

I like decline dumbell extensions, and skull-crushers to failure immediately followed by close grip bench to failure (same weight - just move right into them).

A good way to make the right part of the muscle to match the left part (left and right arm tricep) is to make dumbbell excercises as WeirdAl said and you can also do one extra excercise for your least developed muscle part.

Thanks bro's. Since I last posted this I started doing more press downs and really pinching the lagging arm.

Appreciate the help
