Rikki Lake juice bashing

So I'm flipping through the channels earlier and Rikki Lake is doing a show on the 'extreme dangers' of steroids. What a mess.Nobody had a clue about what they were talking about. They had an older couple on that said their nephew killed his parents during roid rage.A few other guys who were juicing that were supposed to be able to give a legit argument on the pro side and they were just like "uh,well,um".What a disaster. And of course they had the clueless doctor putting in his 2 bits.Rick Collins was in there taking a stand. It just sucked because it was all about 'it causes this and that' and 'this will happen and that will happen' without 1 documented case of anything. And all Rikki cared about was if your balls shriveled up or not.

Yeah, I saw this the first time it showed! We had a thread on it, probably a few pages back now

Cow should be worried about the 'extreme dangers' of obesity.

Personnaly, I wouldn't believe anything that cow said. If she said the sun rises in the east, I'd be looking for a sunrise in the northern sky. Just a load of sensationalism, and a chance for her to speak out on something she knows neither Jack nor shit about. So what's new?

i saw that show, and got a kick out of it. I personally liked the kid who was about a buck 50 up on stage talking about roid rage and how tough he was. There was another guy on there that was a fat p.o.s, but i wont get into that

Stuff like this pisses me off. Uneducated, no good people blame steroids for people's mental diseases...

Roid rage is a bullshit excuse. If these people have anger problems or mental instability steroids will have a slight impact on one's temper...but I'm sure if you give a gun to one of these guys before they took the steroids and anger him he would shoot you anyways.

Also these small guys going on there thinking they're big, bad, and angry is a mainly placebo (almost entirely) and very very small portion of the actual steroids. Placebo is a very powerful thing...but in either case it causes a lot of misinformation. People act like the steroids are causing peoples bad behavior or violence. Get a grip Ricki, you fat no talent pile of shit.

Sorry for my "roid rage", lol ;) , but I get tired of hearing about this in the media.

What a shame....most people who see that show will take it as the gospel truth, and spread more anti-steroid sentiments around.....I wonder if they know that their favorite sports figures are "juicing" too

There ought to be a way to have a rebuttle to her nonsense, like the political parties insist on. My guess is that she has a pre-conceived notion of the effects of usage and went out to find examples to proove her point. I would not be surprised to learn that the guests were not even actually juicing, just said they are. Obviously from the guys that say they saw the show, the examples she trotted out on stage were pathetic mis-users at best.

one of the guys looked pretty sweet, they also had rick collins on too

Rick Collins did a great job, imo, but when you bring someone on AFTER you have a bunch of idiots claiming that their nephew brutally murdered his parents because of some never-before heard of steroid, and all the other stuff, there's really no recovering.
