can we say overated....look at the team he played for...shit i could have had that kinda yardage!! 26@225 makes no difference whether or not he had knee surgery or not...

dude hes the fastest player ever from NFL U
And it shows how far his knee is coming, i know people who cant squat after 10 months of the surgury, and that was only one ligament tear, not 3

Willis is a stud. Best rb in the draft bar none. Are they still projecting him to go in the third round, or has his recent workouts helped his cause?

Ronnie Coleman benched 225 for 74 reps.....YEAH BUDDY!!!!!

Could you imagine Ronnie Coleman's 40 time though?

my guess is that he wouldn't make it to the 40 yard mark....I know I wouldn't at this point unless I was driving

he might get through the 40 on a fighter jet!!!

over rated-injury prone-I doubt he'll be around long-3-4 years tops

I think he will be a very good pro. He played in a pro-set at Miami(one of the few in the NCAA)- He had his best games when they ment the most(see Tenn, Fla St, Florida).

possible pick #30 by the Eagles.

I think he is a great RB

I don't think Willis McGahee is gonna do squat in the NFL. We've seen it time and time again where a RB gets tons of yards for a school where he didn't have to break a single tackle. There where times when he rushed where there was no defender contact until 10 yards down the field. I wouldn't take this guy in the last round. waist of a pick.

Just remember this guy was AHEAD of Clinton Portis on the depth charts as a freshman.....

i am not saying that he is not talented...but he is leaving school early.....coming off an injury in which he still has to prove himself ...i mean lifting is one thing...getting hit, banged, bruised in football is alot different ......NFL is ALOT different then college ball...i also agree with gymrat ...he was never touched until 5-10 yards down the field....

the thing that bothers me about him is that he still has eligibility left. Why won't he go back to school and proove that his knee is at full strength and that he can take the punishment. That's why I think this guy is a retard. He can go back to Miami and put up another 2000 yards because of the team, not that he's any good. That can prove that he still has the ability and get him a higher draft status. Or could it be that the backup is better anyway? Look at Clinton Portis

2003 is a weak draft for RB's(Magahee/l. Johnson) so he has a chance to go high-injury or not- you don't know what next year will be as far as depth at that position on draft day. You have Maurice Clarret OSU, Jones from Fla St etc who could come out.

he has alot of talent but his agent is a big mouth ahole that is speaking WAY too much for this kid. My man has not even hit with the big boys yet and his agent is bluntly saying he is going to better than Barry Sanders. Get real. sqauating 225@10 is not shit for a pro football player. Look at Kobe Bryant in the new gatorade commercial squating with what appeared to be 4 plates 8 total and chaines.(he will be a hall of famer no doubt)

footballcat

yeah his agent is saying things that he wont be able to cash, like make the pro-bowl. Lucky if we see him play

No one will b better then SANDERS. No one has had his vision or ability to break a tackle or make someone miss.

Dude he tore 3 ligaments in his knee 4 months ago. I think squating 225 is very good.

Are you missing that aspect of why that is so sweet for him?

footballcat

kobe only had 3 plates, and one chain in the Sprite commerical

yes ...we all give him his props for coming back so soon....but his agent and all the hype is going to be his downfall....he probably isnt even going to play this year...i would rather take a year off and heal then play and have my career over ..

I hope he dont play, he will go late in the draft to a good team, they wont need him to play, you dont draft a player on there sudden impact, you want a good carrer out of them

This boy will go in the 1st 45 pics-I will eat may words and you guys can have a public flaming if he doesn't. He most likely will be put on the "unable to physically perform list" by the team that drafts him.

Raiders

They already have Garner , so they can work Willis McGahee in slowly , could easily be a stud or can live off the insurance after one hit or the turf gives out on a cut back.

I hope he's a stud , could use more RB's for Fantasy Football.
