Ok I've been having this really rally really really sore throat these past 3 days and it got really bad this past night... I was wondering if you guys/gals could give me some home remedies to treat this? I mean it really hurts... any help would be much appreciated...

my friend of mine told me to drink lemonade..that didn't work!!

Gargle with salt water 2 tbsp per 8 oz water- use the whole glass

this is the trick. Take a 3 whole lemons and squeeze the juice out. Add salt and drink. Also eat the inner part of the lemon afterwards. I guarantee it works.

that lemon one sounds HELLA NASTY!!! I'm beginning to think your saying that as a prank??


and for the salt water gargling... should I swallow the water or spit it out?? And also I heard to gargle salt with warm water...

drink more water...our bodies are 60% water and if you're the least bit dehydrated your immune system will not function at optimal levels....I have two kids who get sick from their friends at school A LOT....as a result, there's snot and boogers and cooties all over my house, but I never catch anything - gotta be the water

Warm green tea with honey and fresh lemon. Gargle with warm salt water and spit. If you have swelling (glands) advil will help out. If it keeps up any longer go to the DR.

No, I'm really not. I've had sore throats that bad before. I've tried many things. the lemon trick is the only one that works every time.

I'm sorry but when a grown man says "cooties" it's just hilarious to me...

water i try to drink as much as possible... I drink atleast 1.5 gallons a day...

i'll definitely try out the remedies...

I'm actually on my way to say the Dr. now... hopefully it's not strep throat...

If it's strep, you'll feel better soon. The salt water always worked for me.

Ok just got back from the doctor... he says it's not strep throat, but rather it's a viral infection in my throat... He gave me some Ibuprofen, basically a pain reliever, and some robitussan for my cough... I'll try to take these and hopefully I'll feel better...

sore throat' suck ass!!!

but i do have a question.. I'm taking Hydroxycut along with other supps and was wondering should I stop taking my supps until I feel better? I just dont' want my medication to have a bad effect in conjunction with my supps, especially the ephedrine in HYdroxycut...

I am with Scorp, can't see any problams but I lay off ephedrine when I don't feel well.
