I need to cut 15 to 20 lbs before summer, while lifting hard. Any ideas for a diet that what leave w/o energy and keep me starved w/ cravings while I lift and run?

PITA has some good advice, the fiber make you feel full, causes you to eat less, the protein enables you to to keep your muscle mass- Some hi intensity cardio like sprints, 100's and 200's on the track(remember these from practices bulk?) should do the trick

Here is my plan. I am going to give myself 3 different meals for bfast, lunch, and dinner. I will then pick one of the three at that time and hopefully I will not get boared as quick. Plus I can easily track my diet. I also eat 4 scwartz lab protien shakes a day. Sometimes with a 1/2 cup of oats. That keeps me going.

I like a CKD diet myself, you don't really get too hungry on that one, you may crave sweets though. All the info you could want about them is here:

BG-I remember them from this past fall and the early part of this year I was on the stair stepper for 60 minutes at a time. The cardio endurance is there evne though I am carrying a few extra pounds.

Last Thursday I ran a mile on tread at gym under 9 minutes w/o any prob.

The area I really need to improve in is my eating habbits. Work also gets in the way of training and eating right.

Hey everyone thanks for all your tips. Now i just gotta keep focused. Had celery and pickle slices as tonoghts snack.

Anyone heard of the rice diet where all you eat is rice?

Incrediblebulk, whatever you do DO NOT follow a rice diet!! What you need to do ASAP is AM cardio before you eat anything for 30 minutes medium intensity 3 times a week. Then, either increase the amount of time or frequnecy as you progress. As far as diet goes, make sure each meal is either Protein and Carb based with very little fat(under 10 grams) or Protein and Fat based with very little carbs(under 10 grams). Try to take in the majority of your carbs before and after your workout and none before bedtime. Use Oatmeal, Brown Rice, and Broccoli as your carbs and Chicken Breasts, Fish, Protein Powder, and a little Red Meat as Protein. You might want to add a little Flax or Olive oil to make sure you're getting enough Fat in your diet. Follow this and you WILL lose weight and the best thing about it is this........It will be FAT!!! :D

Great foods to eat on diet listed by MM, although I personally like a low carb diet to a low fat diet.

Don't go on one of those stupid diets where all you eat is celery, rice or some damn rabbit food.

Eat lean meats grilled. Keep your protein intake high.
