protien

yes... protein shakes are awesome to take when u don't have time to eat... just down a shake and u'r good for a good 1-2 hrs..
 
u can take them whenever, just as long as you are getting enough protien and calories to support muscle growth.
 
They're even better when you are bulking up - wake up in the middle of the night and down a protein shake. enjoy and watch how smelly your farts get. *smile*
