I do heavy weight low reps and was wondering what kind of reps everyone else is doing? I do 10,8,6 on almost everything. some excercises I do 10,8,8,6

yes its going to be a cycle of sust. 500mgs a week

I shoot for a weight I can get for 6 reps. If I can go more than 6, I know to increase the weight next workout. I also will warm up usually around 6-8 reps, not to failure, on 1 or 2 sets, and then go straight to my highest weight.

Exactly the same answer I was going to give. Heavy weights+low rep=mass.

just as an example, to build much mass on my pathetic pecs I did this routine a few weeks ago and experienced intense cramping in the old man boobs all night long...

flat bench 135x10, 225x10, 315x12, 365x3, 295x10
incline dumbell 100x10, 125x10, 140x5
hammer strength wide grip 3/4/5 plates for sets of 8-10
cable crossovers until two drops of pee come out

I like to vary my reps from 3-12 just to make my muscles keep guessing....it's worked for me so far

I hit heavy wieght first, about 6 reps for every set. at the end of the workout ill do about 2-3 sets of about 12-15 reps to totally finish off the muscle.
