BA (benzyl alcohol) will dissolve the hormone and is effective in keeping the product sterile. BB (benzyl benzoate) will dissolve the product but does not help with sterility. Since BA can burn some folks use BB to get an effective solvent that will get all the powder in solution while keeping the burn to a minimum. BA is always left in for its ability to kill bacteria.

Personally, I only use BA.

so how do i tell how much BA and BB to use? Do i just use the calculator? And is it okay to use 5% of BA and 15% of BB for all powders?

What are you trying to convert? Harvey has done a lot of conversion calculations already for our convenience and from personal experience they are quite painless.

There's alway trial and error. More BA usually equals more pain... I believe 0.9% is all that's needed to sterilize. The more total solvent you use, the higher concentration is possible, and also the thinner the resulting solution will be.

So BA to sterile and suspend the solution, and BA to suspend as well, but without the pain BA has? What kind of oil should be used to for the rest of the solution? I've see ppl say peanut oil etc... but what's the best stuff to use?

Thanks everyone, really appriciate all the help!
