IGF-1 (Is this normal)

I just administered my animal with it's first shot less than two hours ago and I swear to god the viens in its bicepts are already pumped up. My animal also apears to be in a rather euphoric state kinda like he was on prozac or something. I was not expecting this and I really can't chalk this up to a placebo effect becouse the viens don't lie. Any one else have this experiance? FYI this is the only thing in my animals system except some asprin.

PS. I still need an answere on the buscopan thing.

Just got back from the gym. I noticed that the initial pump came on fast but was gone just as quick. I really think that this stuff requires high carbs to be effective and today I was on low carbs. The good news is that the local health food store had a sale on protiene bars $1.00 per bar and my favorite brand to boot . 80 dollars for 80 bars (Canadian money at that) and I'm a happy camper. So I think by about day three I'll either be really fat (sucks to be me) or really pumbed. Check back in about three days and I'll let you know.
