I had shoulder surgury about 2 weeks ago and it will keep me from working out for about 4 months, would it be a good idea to get on some IGF-1 that way i don't lose as much muscle, im already fading away fast and maybe the IGF will hold me over until i can get back in the gym, also it will help me from becoming a ball of fat . Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I think (but not sure as I never used gh nor igf) gh would be better choice for healing and retaining muscles.
I am by no means expert in this area.

i can say for certain that it helped my leg with nerve damage, I had a problem with my left legs outer quad sweep, it simply stopped contracting on the outside down by the knee, 2 weeks after daily administration of 75mcg igf and the muscle started to contract again, I thanked GOD like you have no idea because I thought that it might never ever come back and I enjoy lifting and more importantly competing not that im going pro or anything but I was so bummed out that i would never be able to get on stage again because of the non contracting muscle, So for me it worked a miracle no bullshit, the muscle now contracts however it is much smaller then it was before the injury due to atrophy setting in but I am on my way to a full recovery and couldnt be more pleased with the results of my igf use
