So let me get this straight:  If you heart is enlarged and once you stop training, or juicing, your heart will shrink back to a smaller size...kind of like you dick after sex?
So this makes it tougher for your heart to pump blood throughout your body which can lead to many...many other severe problems.  Did I interpet this right?

If so...I think that is something to worry about... ???

Here's a great question for newbies.. basic cycle, basic cardio, basic requirements..

would I only do it half way in regards to goals? .. would I do juice if I just wanted to drop a couple of lbs? .. fuck no!

Here's a lesson.. if you want to just drop a few lbs.. do NOT do AAS... if you have serious goals, and have exhausted every option and cannot break your plautea (sp?), then maybe concider it if your diet is perfect, your sleep schedule is perfect, your routine has been changed up, and time after time after time... you cannot break you stride.. maybe then, maybe concider it if you've looked at all the pro's and cons and lined all your ducks in a row..

in regards to the question.. i'll leave that answer for some other genius ;)

Good question.

I am 40 and have been lifting for quite a while. I have been on for a couple of years now.

I had a stress test done a year or so ago (the real probelm was heartburn, not anything with my heart), and the doc and the tech both noticed that the WALLS of the heart were thickened. This is common among serious lifters. And it should go away after you stop.

In terms of enlarging the heart, I am not sure if it would or why it would. Lifting makes my muscles thicker, not larger.

Your doc probably won't know anything about this.

I Have Had An Enlarged Heart For Many Years Now, I Was Diagnosed Many Yearsd Ago , When They Showed Me The Exrays That Were Taken Of My Lung When I Thought I Might Have Collapsed It Again Against The Xrays Years Before When I Did Collaps My Lunge (in Gym Doing Incline Flys) I Was Amazed At The Diference In The Size, But I Been Fine For Many Years With This, And Any Serious Lifting Athlete Will Get An Enlarged Heart To Some Degree
